List of Piedmont Atlanta Hospital's Reviews
They don't allow children in the hospital. You have to be 18 even when you just have an appointment in transplant. They are short on staff bad, you never see the same person in there it always a different one.
Los controles del aire acondicionado son una locura, no sabes a que temperatura estás y lo mueves a ciegas. De resto, todo es perfecto
I give this Hospital 5 stars. I had a seizure while there visiting my Fiance there. They provided care for me and provide around the clock assistance while I was there. That is supposed to be the standards for a Hospitals but this one does it best! 👌
Absolutely the worst hospital I have ever been to in my life with the most negligent staff. You will die in this place if you’re very ill. Go somewhere else! !
My experience at Piedmont Hospital Emergency Check In and Room was a Good Experience .
I posted this 30 minutes ago and she's still in line: I don't know how bad the rest of Piedmont Hospital is, but the outpatient lab work setup is terrible. Barbara has been in line for more than an hour now. And by "line" I mean standing in a halfway packed with other hopefuls. No chairs, no benches, just a line of people with medical issues, many of them senior citizens, carrying slips of paper and wearing or carrying their winter coats. It's stupid, and it's cruel.
Hopefully I can Save Someone’s LIFE with my post I Almost lost my life In This Hospital. If you are Covid-19 positive PLEASE if it is posible please Don’t go to this hospital. They will not give you Covid treatment. Doctors lie and tell you that there is no treatment for covid. Im a US Army War Veteran and I was denied covid treatment and almost died ☠️ last month. The only reason Im writing this is because I paid for a Charter ambulance flight to Florida that cost me $32,000.00 left this hospital under critical condition. As soon as I arrived I was given MONOCLONAL Treatment. In less then 24 hours I was not in critical condition. The nurses were amazing in this hospital, but the Doctors are unexperienced. It seemed like They were waiting for all my organs to stop functioning…maybe it is more profitable for the hospital for patients to be on a ventilator. This was by far the worst hospital I have ever been to.
At the beginning of October I came down with a cold that progressively got worse as the month went on. I visited the Piedmont Urgent South Buckhead location twice before going to the emergency room. After both visits, I received generic instructions to continue to take cold medicine. After three weeks of feeling sick I decided to go to the emergency room to get checked out. I was hesitant at first because I have had terrible experiences in emergency rooms. When I arrived there, only one other person was in the waiting room. I waited about seven minutes between the time I checked in and the moment a nurse came to check my vitals. After my vitals were taken, I was escorted to my room where I received an x-ray and a Covid-19 test while there. The result for both came back within ten minutes and the doctor was able to write me my prescriptions and send me on my way. I was in the emergency room for about an hour in total. This was by far the best experience I’ve had going to an emergency room. The staff was nice and attentive. If I ever need immediate medical attention, I will be going back to the Piedmont Hospital Emergency Room.
First, medical care A+. I cannot say enough good things.Second, billing F-. These guys are the epitome of medical billing challenges. Bills from procedures in prior year just showing up. Check. Claiming you owe money that the insurance provider “did not cover” even though the insurance provider provided proof they paid. Check. This place is awesome for medical care. They really need billing help.
Worst hospital ever. They cant even manage their own bill update and make mistakes about billing. Care was awful and I had to go another hospital and they diagnosed it completely differently. If I had stayed here a little longer I wouldve had a permanent paralysis. Thank you Piedmont.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
