Piedmont Heart Institute's Online Review Report Card

The ER staff and doctor were thorough, but the overall experience was extremely frustrating. We spent about 6 hours in the ER, and the doctor recommended an immediate stress test at their cardiovascular department, stating he would place the order and submit the referral. The next day, I contacted the cardiovascular department and the experience was awful. I sat on hold for an extended period, was transferred multiple times to the wrong departments, and staff openly admitted that their wait times are long and suggested I “call back later.” There is no option to leave your number for a callback, which is incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. After all of this, I was finally told that no order or referral had been sent from the ER at all. An entire day was wasted, and nothing was accomplished. This lack of follow-through and poor communication is unacceptable. I will not return to Piedmont Hospital.

Answer your PHONE! CALL PATIENTS BACK! Schedule appt when the doctor is actually in the office so we don't wait over an hour in a little room and my wife has to get someone's attention to ask, when is the doctor coming, only to be told, oh dr Marti left, she's getting on a plane right now. Finally DISGUSTED. The doctors may be okay but if the persons answering phones and scheduling don't do their jobs,then the whole place is messed up. Putting it lightly.

A special THANK YOU to Dr. Kandzari and Dr. Corrigan for providing me with exceptional cardiac care over the years. I had a very complicated heart issue, as I was suffering from heart failure 10 years ago. As a result of both exceptional cardiologists, my heart has recovered from a 15 (heart failure) to a 57 (normal heart function). Thank you again!! Barry G. Wolf

My husband was called to make an appointment for a scan or test and then to see the doctor to go over the results and make recommendations for care. When he arrived to the office he found out that the office did not schedule his test. At this point the meeting with the provider was pointless because there were no test results to be had. The office then said the next available test day would be next month. How can you trust Piedmont Heart Institute when they never asked how he feeling cardiac wise? All they asked for was money. Consider this a public announcement to avoid this place and go find a reputable establishment!

I did the "$99 Women's Heart Scan" only to receive a bill nearly two months later for $330. This is absolutely outrageous! Beyond disappointed with this. I had an appointment back in December only to have them cancel the appointment without notifying me. I called to confirm and was told it was cancelled. I then scheduled a new one that I had to wait a couple more months on and they pull this?! Absolutely disgusting!

Talking about the BEST of the BEST!!!!! I’m a caretaker of a 77 year old who is very hard to please but when I took her to this hospital she did nothing but kept saying I Lovvvve them!!!!! And was telling her friends they need to change their doctors and go there!!! To funny but cute! Great Doctors from the emergency to upstairs cardiologist and the whole staff tolerated her with a smile!!!!!! I owe you all sooooo much!!!!! Much respect for life!!!!! Thank you alll for help keeping my aunt here!!!!

They are rated the BEST in America in what they do! Get here if you can..... AND stay away from Piedmont Heart of Stockbridge! They are HORRIBLE!

I had a heart procedure done at the beginning of March 2023. I had some questions prior. I made 5 phone calls in the two weeks prior to my heart procedure (2 to the patient advocate office) and no one ever called me. I'm sure it wasn't the Doctor's fault though. This is about my LIFE, not a pizza delivery gone bad.
