Piedmont Physicians Endocrinology's Online Review Report Card

I selected Piedmont as my new provider because my previous provider was closing their practice. I requested my medical records be sent to Piedmont from my old provider before they closed which they failed to do. Since they weren’t received, Piedmont canceled my appointment and won’t treat me. Now I can’t get my records from the old provider and can’t be treated for my condition. I’ll run out of my medication soon. I guess we’ll see what becomes of me. Thanks Piedmont for “doing no harm”.

Great hospital and staff!

First time visiting Piedmont Physicians Endocrinology and what a great experience. From the get go the staff was very helpful and welcoming. Dr. Lohiya was incredible. She was patient, kind and took her time to explain and make sure I understood everything that was going on. The front staff, Kristen, Stephanie, Meosha, and Tiffany, all bent over backwards to make the whole process seamless and do what they could to work with my schedule. Always happy to find a doctors office with great staff and great doctors!

I would not recommend this clinic and would suggest Emory instead. The doctor I worked with seemed very busy and rushed, and she didn't spend a lot of time with me. Then she referred me to Emory because they have access to better testing. Plus I now have to re-do my MRI (which cost hundreds of dollars) because the one I did through Piedmont was apparently really low quality....

Im sure the doctors are wonderful, but the scheduling staff is really not helpful and straight up rude. I had to talk to them couple of times about my appointment and they were not helpful at all mixed with a lot of attitude.

I could not be happier with Dr. Jennifer Gilligan. I have had DT2 since 2008. My PCP did what he could but I've not always been the most compliant patient. He finally decided I needed the services of an endocrinologist and referred me to Dr. Gilligan. COVID-19 pushed my appointment out but I finally got in to see her yesterday. I was a bundle of nerves, but Tiffany at the front desk calmed me down immediately. When I finally met Dr. Gilligan, it was like a dream come true. I felt like I was talking to a friend! She doesn't just treat the condition, she treats you holistically - body, mind, soul and spirit. She was amazing. I wish I had started seeing her sooner. She went over my medications, made a change or two, and answered all of my questions. She did not rush through the appointment at all. I felt so cared for. I've already booked with her in three months. I HIGHLY recommend her to anyone who wants a medical professional who *listens* to you and works with you. I was so happy I cried. Thank you Piedmont Endocrinology for being so wonderful!!!

If I could give this a zero star I am doing. The staff who just answered my phone call was very unhelpful and awful. I called to check on estimates/ ranges of prices to see if I can afford care there, I don’t know if she is in a bad mood or what, it seems like she wanted to insult me and answered me very rudely telling me she doesn’t know and on top of all of that she hang up on me. Wow if this is the behavior of a hospital staff, will the doctors and nurses give a care about you and your health? 🤔 I wonder.

Difficult getting through to voice mail to get an appointment or to renew prescription s. It takes several calls to get them. They don’t return calls. I am going to look for another place to see me. Good bye 👋

The scheduling staff is awful. I love working with my doctor, but the scheduling staff makes it so difficult to see my doctor or schedule routine blood work that I'm forced to find a new doctor. 6 voicemails in and no callback.
