List of Piedmont Physicians Of Brookhaven's Reviews
I've been seeing Dr. Moultrie for four years--excellent physician.
Editing review on 11/9/21:If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. I actually switched to Dr Modi due to scheduling issues shortly after I wrote my original review below. Dr Modi is now both mine and my wife’s primary care doctor and I’m not sure how many of our friends have switched to him but it’s a pretty significant amount. It’s like having a small town practice within a big city. His PA, Allison Anderson, is also great.I’m not sure why so many people have negative things to say about the office staff. In my probably 12-15 visits there in the past four years, they’ve always been fantastic. Certainly well above average in terms of that department.Original review:I'm 37 years old, and this is by far my favorite physician's office that I've visited. The place is new and clean. I almost never wait more than 10-15 minutes and then once brought back and checked for vitals, Dr. Reid always comes in the room in 5-10 minutes. My father in law pays an annual fee for a concierge doctor but in all honesty, with the MyChart access and almost no wait, I think this place is better. Highly recommend!
Great if you like giggling and cakiling by front desk. Loud talk and such shouldn't be tolerated in a medical office. Staff should be working in other places.
Unfortunately my experience with Dr. Modi and his staff was underwhelming. It would be very helpful if better communication methods are used. If not, this can be very frustrating to patients who are not already feeling well.Showing concern and care for the patients is also very important! Especially from a primary care physician. You should never be made to feel like you are an inconvenience to them if you request a callback. I wish I had not done this.In the end I felt worse after my communication with the doctor ' he didn't even ask how I was feeling or apologized that I wasn't feeling well or his willingness to help. He was only concerned if I had been vaccinated and to let me know that he doesn't hate the equipment to protect his staff so I can't come in due to my sore throat and congestion symptoms. Then he said, he will try to diagnose me on a video call the next day or I could go to urgent care.Needless to say, I canceled my video appt with the doctor and went to urgent care.Bedside manner goes a long way. After all doctors are in the business of caring for patients by choice. I know will be seeking another primary care physician. How disappointing.Poor communication from staff and my experience resulted in an uncaring doctor. It is very important to feel that you are cared for from you primary physician that that they care concerned for your well being. Unfortunately that was not the case with Dr. Modi and staff. I now have to go elsewhere to find a doctor. Hopefully I will find one soon.
Incredibly efficient. Everyone was super nice.Easy parking.
I never in my life have delt with such unprofessional behavior at doctors office. Pretty new to the area. Have CARDIAC issues. Need meds that on my last visit which was about a month I forgot to mention my need for a refill because I had some a little bit left. They made me make an appointment to see someone instead of just talking to one of the PAs since I was just in. Im severely tight on money. Cant afford copays, yet alone insurance. And Denies my TELEMED vist during the time of my visit over a 90$ balance after payment. Although the get 90% of their money through insurance. Is this a joke?. . Everyone is running into hard FINANCIAL times. Since I've been going gere I even yet to meet the actual doctor. I'm just disgusted and will NEVER reccomend this facility.
I was seen on time and was not waiting all day.The front office staff and lab staff was nice professional and friendly. Dr. Sigman is very personable. She has a great bedside manner. She got to know me as a person and was very nice and she listened. I didnt feel rushed. One of the best experiences I have had at a doctor office.
My sister was scheduled for a serious surgery and they canceled the surgery without ANY notice! She was told that her surgery was canceled when she showed up for pre op! They told her that the nurse and financial team canceled the surgery because of a miscommunication problem but because she is a new patient they didn't have to service her or give her any notice!! What type of physician works like this? They don't care about their patients because my sister was scheduled for an emergency surgery because her health situation. Mind you she is African American and the nurse and her doctor Dr. Knorr are white. This type of service is discrimination at its finest. They should be completely disgusted of themselves. Black women BEWARE!!!
Everyone, from the front desk, nurses, assistants, billing, and Dr. John Moultrie, is so pleasant, knowledgeable, and caring. When you walk into their new, spacious reception area you are immediately greeted with a smile. My previous Primary Care Physician (PCP), who I had been with for @20 years, had moved with his practice to Piedmont West a number of years ago. The commute to get to the west -side from the east-side had been getting more and more difficult for me. In addition, this PCP’s office decided not to use Piedmont’s MyChart EHR system which provides access to my health records to all my Piedmont physicians. I have an above-average number of health issues for a 56-year-old man so when Piedmont Brookhaven opened I started to consider going there since it is only a 10-minute drive from my home. This was a very difficult decision to make, but when I asked my neurosurgeon if he knew any of the PCP’s at Piedmont Brookhaven he told me that HIS PCP was Dr. Moultrie and he was very happy with him. Well, that made this very difficult decision much easier to make, and I couldn't be happier.During my first appointment Dr. Moultrie was caring, incredibly thorough, and answered all my questions with ease, and the best part was when he said he preferred communicating via MyChart! He is particularly quick when responding to a question and provides timely test result communication.I feel extremely fortunate to have Dr. Moultrie as my ”quarterback” for monitoring and managing all of my health issues and the many specialists and surgeons I interact with.
Dr Knoer is FANTASTIC. He was our OBGYN over the past ten months, and delivered our baby last week. I have yet to meet a doctor who is more prepared, thoughtful, competent and caring. We are a mixed race couple, and loved the diversity of Dr. Knoer's office and of the maternity ward of Piedmont Hospital, where our wonderful baby was delivered. The office visits were a model of efficiency and human touch - we had lots of questions and he was calm, knowledgeable and patient, giving us all the information we needed to know about genetic testing, ultrasound results, and risk factors related to age and race. The experience of delivery comes with a great deal of anxiety, and Dr. Knoer went well beyond the call of duty to make us feel comfortable. He greeted us with a smile on induction day, reassured my girlfriend and I, described all the steps of the procedure in detail, and left his number for us to call during the night in case of emergency. On delivery day, he was a rock - steady, confident, and on top of things from minute 1. When our baby's heartbeat dropped, he instructed Veronica, an exceptional delivery nurse, and my girlfriend on what to do, and quickly and safely extracted the baby. The postpartum care was stellar - all the nurses and doctors at the hospital went the extra mile, and were super supportive. If you want a safe pregnancy and delivery, with the most professional doctor we have ever met, choose Dr. Knoer. A++++.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
