List of Piedmont Physicians Of Midtown's Reviews
Very unprofessional at reception desk. Seems like she’s having a bad day, week, or even life for that matter. Very rude and uncooperative. Claimed no supervisor or manager was available to discuss my issue
I love the staff and physicians. They have convenient hours and free parking.
I chose this site because it was walkable and nearby. That was the only positive in my experience. Everyone on staff seemed to be in a bad mood and treated me like i was an inconvenience for a simple physical. they seem to think its okay to charge you over $200 for a ten second question during a routine physical and then expect to keep their patients. A sign in the downstairs lobby gave a phone number to call upon arrival and for the first two tries no one picked up. I waited 10 minutes and tried again. Once i was let upstairs there is no direction on where to go to be checked in so i stood in the wrong spot waiting. For context my insurance covers physicals 100% but the doctors here are shady and ask you questions that they will charge you upwards of $250 for a "diagnostic visit" if you respond / answer. They also charge you for a lab work you didn't request be done. Overall , staff was not personable and inviting. maybe they are overworked and understaffed. Either way i wont be returning to find out. Just another chain medical company looking to exploit its patients.
Friendly and easy to work with staff. Dr. Haller was very courteous and helpful.
For starters I’m a college student who pays for their own health insurance and it’s very expensive. This office completely took advantage of the fact that I’m new to having my own health insurance and don’t quite know the ins and outs yet. The receptionist told me that my healthcare provider was in their network, but due to my plan only $50 was covered by them. I immediately went into a panic and thought “as soon as I leave I’m switching my insurance”. After paying $130 out of pocket for my physical exam I called my insurance to complain about my policy. Turns out their office is NOT in the network of my provider. The receptionist had access to this information and chose not to tell me the truth. This was definitely a learning experience and now I know the ins and out of my insurance, but you’d think the receptionist would do her job and tell me they don’t accept my insurance?
Dr Bekele is amazing!! Office is very professional and clean!!
I called to get refills in my prescriptions. They said I need to make an appointment yo see the doctor before they would call in the refill. I went in to my appointment. They forced me to give blood for all these test. Before they would call in the refill. A few days later I called to get three more refills. No one called them in. I called 5 more times. But no one called them in. I requested them in my chart. No one called them in. I call back today. They are refusing to to call in my refills. They want me yo come back to do more test I can’t afford to pay for right now.Is this legal yo hold a heart failure patient hostage over meds I need.SMH.
This was my worst experience with a a doctor's visit! I went with my 86 year old grandmother for her follow up visit with this facility. They had her standing outside with her walker for over 15 minutes because she had a balance of $95 from her last visit! To make matters worst, this was said in an unpleasant and disrespectful tone! I said I would be happy to make that payment on her behalf but they said I could not come in because they are only letting patients with an appointment in! Mind you all this time my poor grandma who can barely walk was still at the door standing. It was not until I said who I was I got to go inside and take care of this payment. This should never happen. All patients should be treated with equal respect regardless of what they do or who they know! I'm not sure who is in charge of this location, but you need to revamp the admitting protocols! We will not be coming back to this facility no elderly patients should be standing for that long. THIS SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN!!
Go somewhere else if you value the money in your wallet. I was double billed for my annual preventative care visit with one of their newer doctors. I received a bill for a normal office visit on top of my preventative care visit. I was never told that asking ANY questions would result in extra billing and in fact was encouraged by the website to bring up any "nagging" issues. When I talked to the billing department, they said that this billing was correct.
Find a new doctor. They charge a $80 “administration of a vaccination charge.” I have PPO Blue and they’ve never even heard of anyone doing that. You’ll see other reviews about the same thing. I’m so sick of healthcare providers who add BS charges. Our US healthcare system is a joke.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
