List of Piedmont Urgent Care By Wellstreet - Buckhead North's Reviews
Would give 0/5 if I could. I had a 8:00am appointment for a Covid PCR Test. After I walked in and talked to the nurse at the front desk, she looked clueless to what to do after I told her I had an appointment. Then she told me she would put me in the system, but I would have to wait my turn since there were around 50 people waiting outside for walk-ins. I stated once again, I had scheduled an appointment ahead of time for a time slot at 8am, to which she replied, “we don’t even have swabs to do the tests right now, go to your car and we will call you”. After waiting for about an hour I went back in to ask about an ETA for being tested. The gentleman at the front desk saw me walk in and go past a lady coming for a walk in, and made me wait to be talked to. Afterwards he started scolding me for not being a gentleman and questioned my ethics. What in the world? I apologized for the misunderstanding and said I didn’t mean to be rude, I just wanted to know what the ETA to get an exam was. In the end, I ended up getting no exam and a “lesson” on how to be a gentleman from the front desk. Amazing service.
The staff is A1.
What a great experience! Open on holidays as well and take insurance! Test results in under 3 hours.
Everyone was so kind and patient - especially with how slammed they were on Christmas Day!
I came in a 9am and they told me I had to wait until 5:50pm because there’s a long waitlist(which was fine) but when I came back I had to wait over an hours to even see a doctor. The ladies at the desks were very unwelcoming and seemed like they hated their jobs. When I finally went in to see a doctor they told me they couldn’t do anything about it and couldn’t even tell me what I had. No antibiotics, shots, medicine, and just told me it was a viral infection. Waste of time.
Great experience, they were calm cool and collected despite the high number of people waiting to be served right here before he holiday travel rush. Much appreciated.
This location isn’t helpful. Currently turning patients away for CoVID-19 as they schedule their daily walk-ins at 5:30AM, although this information is not posted and the waiting room is completely empty with business seeming slow. They are not answering the phones when I called to gain information about this location before driving here. It’s not by definition an urgent care anymore if walk-ins are not able to walk-in. Waste of time. Bulkhead is really falling off.
The staff were very friendly and efficient. God bless our healthcare workers.
I gave 4 stars because when I walked in I didn’t have an appointment. There was a young lady and a young man at the reception desk. I went in for a sinus infection and an eye infection. The guy told me that I had to come back tomorrow and I’m standing there looking at him with my eyes all swollen and bloodshot red half swollen shut and he was going to let me walk out in that condition. The nice young lady sitting next to him said we’re going to squeeze you in because you need to see and I was so grateful for her being so nice to me. I Had a wonderful nurse I think her name was Chantel she had the long brown and gold braids but she was very nice. I was in and out in no time and it’s the day after and I feel better already. So my experience was a great one. Other than the guy at the front desk trying to make me come back the next day or find another urgent care that wasn’t but I would’ve given it a five.
Some serious negligence is going on regarding the front desk staff. My boyfriend who has already tested negative for covid, is in horrible pain in his throat and they sent him away saying they are “all booked up” with 3 people sitting in the waiting soon. He asked how he could make an appointment and she said they don’t take appointments… that’s a lie. They do take them online via wellstar.com

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
