List of Ramie A Tritt Md's Reviews
Great dr., I had a life long nose problem. He fixed it, now I can breath! He talks in easy to understand terms, and finally a dr. That really knows what he’s doing!
Decent experience. I would give it a 3.5 out of 5 but I have these 2 huge bumps on my septum after my septoplatsy
Best Doctor Ent Doctor I ever been too ... very down to earth , trustworthy and honest ...
Years after an awful deviated septum surgery gone wrong, issue, of course, persist and surgery will have to be repeated by a trusted surgeon for some relief. I would not recommend this doctor in the least. It appears from the other reviews that things haven't changed.
Dr. Tritt was simply outstanding! I had been desperately struggling with chronic sinusitis for years and went to multiple ENTs in Atlanta to attempt to solve the situation. Dr. Tritt immediately diagnosed the problems (deviated septum and turbinate reduction) and performed a successful septoplasty. He (and his staff) was very caring and supportive throughout the process. I give him the highest level of professional and personal endorsement.
Dr. Tritt performed my surgery for a deviated septum and did a wonderful job. I was a bit anxious beforehand however he calmed my fears and answered my questions as well as assured me that everything would go well and it did. He even called the next morning to see how I was doing. I am very pleased with him and his staff.
He did 2 surgeries several years ago on me. I was having a lot of sinus infections. Someone recommended Dr. Tritt. After the 1st surgery, I was breathing worse and still getting infections. He then stated to me that he has a sure fire way to end my breathing and sinus problems . He put stitches in side my nose. He stated the surgery was a success. 2 days after my surgery, I woke up with black eyes, stitches sticking out through my nose, blood everywhere. I had to have another surgery just to fix what he did to me. If going to have to have my 6th surgery in about 3 weeks from now. I can no longer smell, taste, and also have a hole in my septum. Dont see this butcher, he will screw you up. He has ruined several years of my life and also cost me thousands!!!!
Wonderful practice and outstanding care. I use a CPAP and had trouble with nasal congestion, which limited the effectiveness of the CPAP. My doctor referred me to an ENT who explained I was a candidate for septoplasty & turbinate reduction surgery. I was told I would be "miserable" for a week following surgery due to splints in the nasal passages. I talked to family, friends, and co-workers who had this surgery; all said it was a very rough recovery but worth the pain and discomfort in the long run. I was pretty much resigned to my fate. As luck would have it, or perhaps divine guidance, I saw a news story about a new medical device (Propel Implant) that substantially lowers pain for sinus surgery. I decided to find a doctor that was certified on the device, I found Dr. Ramie Tritt. I scheduled an appointment to get a second opinion. BEST MEDICAL DECISION I'VE EVER MADE! Dr. Tritt explained I was not a candidate for the Propel Implant because it's for sinus surgery and I only needed nasal surgery. I asked about the splints and he explained there would not be any splints because he uses a different technique that was easier on the patient and recovery would have minimal discomfort. There was a little bleeding, runny nose, and some stuffiness from swelling and healing (all normal). The worst part of recovery was a stuffy & drippy nose for a few days. I only took two of the prescription pain pills and that was mostly precautionary, I likely could have gotten by with just Tylenol. The congestion cleared up with the debridement a week after surgery. Recovery has been more of an inconvenience than anything and provided a couple of days of binge-watching Netflix and Amazon. Win-win! Surgery was on Thursday, I was back at work the following Monday with limitations on activity. I elected to work partial days for the first half of the week but could have managed full days if necessary. I'm now eight days out from surgery and able to breathe and sleep better. I still have some post-op care for a month but that's now part of the routine. Breathing is getting better daily at this point. It's not just Dr. Tritt, EVERYONE on staff is wonderful. I'm always greeted pleasantly and everyone seems to take a genuine interest in the care patients are receiving. I don't think I've ever been asked so many times if I've gotten everything I need and if I had additional questions. Perhaps the best thing is you NEVER feel rushed, you are afforded the time needed to get your questions answered in the office and if you think of something later you can correspond through the patient portal online. TIPS for post-op care (just my experience): -Buy an extra Neil Med bottle so you can clean and sanitize two bottles at a time. Buy extra saline pre-mix packets. Don't take shortcuts on the post-op care, especially on cleaning and sanitizing the bottle for the saline rinses. -For the saline rinses, I liked distilled water better than tap water (both were boiled first) but my tap water is chlorinated and seemed to irritate. -Name brand Neosporin has less aftertaste (yes, you read that right) than the generic and Bacitracin has even less than Neosporin or Polysporin. It's not awful but the unpleasant aftertaste from the ointment was not expected. Again, it's a TINY matter compared to four-inch-long splints shoved into your face.
I met with Dr Tritt to evalulate a sinus infection. Over the course of two months he conducted a nasal endoscopy and two cat scans - all very expensive procedures and then tried to push a deviated septum surgery. I had to push back on the deviated septum surgery because I read other reviews which said he messed their surgeries up. - It seems to me that this Dr. is pushing expensive procedures and surgeries that are not necessary. Beware.
I went to Dr. Tritt because I was getting a lot of sinus infections. He did a surgery on me and made my breathing a lot worse. He said he had a great idea for the 2nd surgery. Me being stupid, let him do it. He put stitches inside my nose and said my surgery was a success. 2 days after the surgery I woke up with 2 black and blue eyes, blood every where, stitches sticking out of my face. I went back to him and him said he was sorry and he will fix it!!! I would not let him touch me. Have hole in

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
