Robert M Titelman's Online Review Report Card

I saw Dr. Titelman for a severe shoulder fracture that wasnt adequately treated by another Md. He performed an open reduction. The surgery went well enough however I suffered a complication. I underwent two additional surgeries not orthopedic because of this complication. On a 3 month followup with Titelman I explained the two subsequent surgeries to him. I also mentioned my ongoing shoulder pain stating I had difficulty sleeping now at 5 months of poor sleep. Without looking up from what he was writing or doodling Titelman stated Well put you to sleep allright. Taking his cue I stopped talking. The room went silent and he walked out without saying another word. I felt humiliated by him for discussing the complications and then for stating I was in continued pain. Though my arm is not what it should be I have not wanted to return to discuss options. No patient should ever be belittled by a doctor for the purpose of discouraging continuing care

Dr. Titleman has been my orthopedic doctor since 2018. I just told him he is a God sent. I was offered to go see someone else I said No I know his work thoroughness and process. He is knowledgeable and patient friendly. I will continue to come to Dr. Titleman and refer him to anyone who needs assistance with broken elbows.Jannifer

Dr. Robert Titelman performed a shoulder procedure on me.

Robert did shoulder surgery on me it failed he removed my deltoid did not tell me . He sewed my ligaments and muscle back to bone it came undone . While in physical therapy I called him continuously as well as my PT. He refused to address it . I went into his office with new MRI it clearly showed everything he dad came undone. He tells me he’s never seen that before . I told him I was failing in PT which does not happen to me . So the alternative he gave me was he could try a shoulder replacement and only 30 percent it would take . I didn’t do that . Now handicapped.

I am writing to thank Dr. Robert Titelman and all his coworkers at Emory St. Joseph Hospital and Resurgens Orthopaedics in Atlanta for the excellent care I received after my sport accident resulting in a displaced midcervical fracture of my right femur. Dr. Titelman is a highly knowledgeable talented professional trustworthy and friendly orthopedic surgeon. He delivered the right diagnosis and explained the available surgery options in a very understandable and confidence building way. The subsequent surgery involving partial hip replacement right hip hemiarthroplasty went extremely well and so did my physical therapy. I am very happy with the results and highly recommend Dr.Titelman without any hesitations.

I have unfortunately had to have numerous knee surgeries arthritis analysis for my hands and wrists and recently broken arm surgery. I have used this Resurgens location for all and would never go anywhere else. They are the real deal and I trust them completely. Very high quality care if your insurance allows you to use them. Dr. Titelman was incredible. A great doctor and surgeon. Highly recommend.

Dr Titelman was referred to me by another dr who couldn’t diagnose what was going on with my rom in my right elbow after he did surgery. Dr Titelman did xrays to see the problem. Did surgery in about a week later and my elbow was much better right after surgery. He is a great dr and is very attentive to your every need medical or not👍👍👍.

He is a great doctor. He personally called me to apologize for a staph infection in my arm weeks after surgery when it wasnt his fault. Very compassionate doctor. Rare theses days.

Dr. Titelman and the entire staff are amazing. He took time to listen to me addressed all of my concerns thoroughly reviewed and discussed my xrays with me and immediately gave me his recommendation. I have already recommended him to one of my friends. I had a great experience here.
