Nothing but good experiences so far. One son and his Mom are very satisfied with their results. I'm happy with the prices.

I have been coming to Cindy for almost 8 years. Not sure what’s going on in the Skin Medics office but it’s getting more and more disappointing with each visit. I really miss the girls that were at the desk when I first started coming here. Recently my card was charged $1800 for a $180 visit, which they fixed. My last scheduled visit was made with someone else which was too late to reschedule with Cindy because I wasn’t aware until I got the “confirm you appointment text”. Called and made a new appointment which they stated they would tell Cindy what happened…they never did. Never did they suggest to fit me in or call if someone cancels. Go in today, before starting my service Cindy asked the girls to prepare my face pads for purchase so that I wouldn’t have to wait. Guess what,15-20 minutes later, pads were not done. Then the young lady suggested that I have a seat while she makes them. I refused because at this point y’all need supervision. As she is preparing, she spills the bottle. Still waited. As a medical personnel and self pay customer, professionalism starts with your front desk. If it wasn’t for Cindy, I would have been gone 3 appointments ago.

The worse service ever. They been rescheduled my appointment and wait again for another 3 week and telling me I am come late when my appointment at 2:30 and get there at 2:33 and leaving the customer and went home.

I have been a patient of Mara’s and Dermatology Associates of Atlanta for over 10 years. I faithfully get a hydra facial which costs at the minimum 200.00. I went in today to purchase products and spent over 100.00. I was upset to find out parking To go in the office and leave 10 minutes later cost me 6.00. I called into the office to explain my situation hoping that maybe they would decide to assist me next time since I wasn’t serviced by discounting my next service possibly. I was transferred to billing and explained that I parked to run in to buy products and the billing clerk said “and”??? I thought she was very rude by not trying to understand my concern. I have noticed this office decline over the years and today was the last straw. After waiting over 4 months for them to repair the hydra facial machine I still was a loyal client. I told them to cancel my appointment and the lady said “ok it’s cancelled!” She did not ask why or if I wanted to reschedule. She abruptly ended the call. I will not be going back here or recommending them for service!

Caroline is an absolute angel. I love seeing her every few weeks for my acne facials - not just because they keep my skin clear and glowing, but because Caroline is so sweet and easy to talk to!

I’ve been coming here for over a year and I’ve had great experiences every time. I almost always see Caroline for facials and treatments and she is always sure to make recommendations based off of what my skin needs and what she thinks will make the most impact while also being cost effective. I’ve seen others and have always had a great experience. They also have days of the month where you’re able to get discounted products/treatments, which is definitely a plus. Would definitely recommend!

Arrived at my 7:00 am appointment, and the receptionist told me that the esthetician was stuck in traffic, and then she asked me if I wanted to delay my appointment until 8:30 to see a different esthetician, or reschedule entirely for another day. If someone is stuck in traffic, they will likely only be a half hour or so late, right? So why did I need to promptly be rescheduled for an hour and a half later? Additionally, why would the esthetician notify her job that she was in traffic TEN MINUTES PAST the time of our appointment? My point is, she AND the receptionist lied to me. On top of that, they disrespected my time. I should've received a phone call; it look a lot of arrangements for me to be in Alpharetta at that hour for my appointment. In the end, I took the 8:30 appointment, even though it cut into my work schedule, and had a decent appointment with the other esthetician. When I checked out, the receptionist gave me a parking validation (after I brought it up), to make up for my earlier inconvenience and time wasted. Gee, thanks. This place lacks class. Funnily enough, while I waited in my car for my appointment, I looked them up to see reviews and saw that I'm not the only one who's had an experience like this with them. If I was this business owner, I'd be extremely embarrassed. Edited to add: yes, I do mean the business that is located at 5555 Peachtree Dunwoody Rd #195, Atlanta, GA 30342. In my initial review, I said they are located in Alpharetta, and their response below correctly pointed out that they are not in Alpharetta, so perhaps I meant a different establishment. However, everything else in my review is accurate, and this is indeed the location that I intended to leave the review for. I've just made the edit to address their comment.

Keep trying it but I think its overpriced. Spent $100 on a peel that only last 15 minutes. The aesthetician played loud music and rushed through it. Didn't find it relaxing or worth the money.

It is always an unfortunate experience when individuals providing a service fail to demonstrate any level of appreciation for consumers who patronize and pay for these services. Sadly, for many businesses, there is one bad apple who overwhelmingly offsets an otherwise pleasant experience for customers. At Skin Medics, that individual is Jan, who performs all hair removal treatments at the facility. After several experiences with Jan, it is apparent that she has taken it upon herself to single-handedly revolutionize the customer service industry by providing anything and everything BUT customer service. In short, she makes no apologies for her fiercely condescending, discourteous, and unprofessional manner. Further, her blatant and unapologetic disregard for my time, and her thinly-veiled attempts to push unnecessarily pricey treatments over entirely effective (and FAR more economical) alternatives is something I am no longer interested in paying top dollar for. (What in the world took me so long??) While I would definitely recommend any skin treatment services provided by Cindy at Skin Medics--she's absolutely FANTASTIC--I will most certainly discontinue all services provided by Jan. I've heard amazing things about AYA Medical Spa in Phipps, and I can't wait to try them!
