Spine Center Atlanta's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Chappius and Dr. Hughes are absolutely the best. Their knowledge and experience shine through the care they give. I have seen both Doctors there in the past month few months. Dr. Chappius gives a level of care that is above and beyond expectations. I had surgery with him recently. My husband also had surgery with him in the late 90's. I couldn't be more pleased. I seen Dr. Hughes yesterday for pain relief injections. He was amazing too. Compassion and caring are words that come to mind. His team member even offered to hold my hand when my anxiety was high. Their staff is top notch and if I could give more than 5 stars to them all, I would.

My experience with Dr. Absi's office was extremely poor. I scheduled a virtual visit for 8:30 AM on a Monday, which was initiated by an insurance inquiry. The doctor never showed up. After waiting over 20 minutes, his office staff called to inform me the appointment now needed to be in-person. Dr. Absi couldn't even offer the courtesy of joining the scheduled virtual call to notify me of this change. This is unprofessional and lazy. Furthermore, the staff demanded I reschedule for an in-person visit so they could perform a completely unnecessary X-ray before agreeing to an MRI. As a lifelong athlete, trainer, and coach, I am certain of the required diagnostic procedure. This appears to be a classic case of bureaucratic billing to maximize insurance claims. I cannot recommend this clinic due to their unprofessionalism and unnecessary billing practices.

My 1st visit went well. I appreciated Dr Chappuis he took time and listen to me. Now we got a plan to hopefully get myself back to normal everyday life and not hurt so bad.... plus front office staff was sweet and very helpful.

I went in for an MRI Review and NP Fingerman was very informative and detailed in her assessment of my images. She describe everything in terms I could understand and not just a bunch of medical jargon. She gave her professional opinion as to what she believes I need and what my options are surrounding that. I left with a better sense of whats going on with me and I feel empowered to make an informed decision on my health.

Dr. Chappuis and his team are the best! From the check-in process then Xray team all the way down to the anesthesiologist and Dr. Chappuis and his amazing surgical team of nurses. I can't say enough on how well he and his team took care of me during my acdfs surgery on the c5 c6 and c6 c7.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review** I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Chappuis and the entire team at the Spine Center of Atlanta. After being involved in a serious car wreck, I wasn’t sure if I’d ever get back to living a normal life. I was in constant pain and struggling just to get through the day. Dr. Chappuis changed all of that. He performed **three surgeries** on my neck and back , and thanks to his incredible skill and knowledge, I am now pain-free and living my life again. I can **work, play with my son**, and enjoy things I never thought I’d be able to do again. His professionalism, intelligence, and genuine care for his patients are unmatched. He **took the time to listen** to all of my concerns and made sure I understood every step of the process. One moment that really stood out—Dr. Chappuis **personally picked up my medication** so I wouldn’t have to worry about it after surgery. Who does that? That’s the kind of doctor he is. His **staff treated me like family** from day one. They went above and beyond, even **providing rides to appointments** and covering **hotel stays while I was recovering** from surgery. I’ve never experienced that level of compassion and support in healthcare before. If you’re in pain or recovering from a serious injury and feel like you’ve run out of options—**go see Dr. Chappuis**. He truly gave me my life back, and I will always be grateful.

I’ve been going here for deep tissue massage therapy, dry needling, and PT for a long time. The staff is friendly and professional. Great place to get the help you need.

On 10/01/2025 I checked into my appointment. At the Spine Center & Orthopedics office Atlanta’s Buckhead Facility. I needed to have my left shoulder operated on by Dr. Absi to repair my left rotator cuff and bicep. Through a Left Shoulder Arthoscopy Procedure. Within less than 10 minutes I was retrieved by my Nurses. With Alina Newton being one of them. I was taken to my personal area. Within less than 15 minutes I had already been prepped, signed consents, vitals, IV line put in, my Wonderful surgeon Dr. Absi had already came in to mark me and to be sure that I was clear about what procedure was being performed. Next the most wonderful anesthesiologist came in to make sure that the process of me being put under went smoothly. I feel so safe and secure in their hands from the moment I walked into the Surgery Center. I had an amazing group of nursing staff that was so on point! When I woke up! I was tended to promptly, they made sure to have my ride on their way to come and get me. And alll of the nurses and staff was so pleasant and friendly. Being sure to acknowledge me before I left their facility! I would highly rate Spine Center & Orthopedics Atlanta’s Buckhead Clinic! If I could give 10 ⭐️’s I most definitely would.
