After trying every nonsurgical procedure that my insurance could possibly put me through for 4 years, my back pain and leg weakness and gotten to the point that I couldn't walk more than hundred feet without falling. I felt like I was ready to give up hope. Dr. Wray was confident that things could be improved.It is AMAZING!!! The recovery was a painful for the first week but quickly showed me that it was the correct decision. Have faith and don't give up until visit them if you are struggling with back pain or leg pain and weakness.

Dr Wray recommended a much less invasive surgery for me than another surgeon. Fixed my problem! He and staff very caring and I felt like I was in good hands:

1 month post a 3 level ACDF and happy to report that I feel so good! I don't just let anyone touch my neck so after asking 2 doctors I work with, "who is the beI'm st Neurosurgeon at Piedmont?" they both immediately said Dr. Wray. He came highly recommended by doctors. This surgery and the recovery have been the easiest I have ever had. I went home after 2 hrs in the Recovery room and used very little of a mild pain pill. I didn't lose any movement ability in my neck and all the pain is gone. I can't say enough about how good I feel and looking forward to getting back to life. When I was in P.A.T there were other patients that were Dr. Wray's patients and they all said he came highly recommended to them as well. You can't go wrong with Dr. Wray. I am one happy person following this surgery. I went back to work after 4 weeks but probably could have gone back after 2 weeks. Rest assured you will be pleased with his whole staff as well. Dr. Wray is very attentive, friendly, patient, and thorough. He has been thoroughly prepared for each of my appointments and takes enough for me to fully understand and to be comfortable with my diagnosis.

Without a question, the most amazing surgeon I have ever had the opportunity to experience. I had back issues, and had to have a microdiscectomy. Dr Wray spent a good deal of time explaining the goals of the surgery, as well as all options that were non-surgical. There was never any pressure to move forward in a particular direction. He also was very capable of demonstrating the issues I was experiencing, and explaining the "why" behind them (often using replica skeletal demo models). I credit Dr. Wray for my current back health, and am grateful for his skill and proficiency as a surgeon.

Dr. Wray is a miracle worker. After years of pain, he performed surgery and fused L5-S1. Recovery was quick, and I was pain free within a few weeks. Within three months, I ran a 5k and was doing things that I haven't been able to do in years. Thank you Dr. Wray for giving me my life back!

Dr. Wray is an amazing doctor. His skill is THE BEST in the country. He takes a genuine interest in his patients and spends the time to explain clearly and in a way that I can understand both the problem and the solution.
