Dr. Blackwood is amazing with children. My daughter was a patient of Dr. Hamm before he retired and was nervous about changing doctors but he made her feel right at home. She left so excited he was her doctor.

Our visit was quick but very informative. Dr. Blackwood would listen my questions and anything else that I had to say... along with my 4 year old that will talk about anything and everything. He would tell me why certain tests were being done and also anything that I should expect in the future. I would recommend him to everyone, and I couldn't ask for my daughter to be in any better hands than this man.

Super friendly makes sure everything is taken care of. Him and his staff are great with kids and the parents. There was almost no wait time and they took their time. Highly recommend.

An amazing doctor! Dr. Blackwood is very attentive, knowledgeable and a great pediatric cardiologist. We took my daughter to see him in an emergency situation without an appointment and they fitted us in. He made me feel very at ease about the whole ordeal. He's a patient doctor and very considerate. I would highly recommend him to anyone who has a child with a heart defect.

Dr. Blackwood has been my sons cardiologist his entire life! He has been there thru every step and was even the one who diagnosed him! We make our appts around Dr. Blackwood's schedule so that he is the Dr we actually see every time!
