William Armstrong Blincoe's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Blincoe has been my cardiologist for more than thirty years. We moved to Dalton about 15 years ago but I still drive to Atlanta to see him because I trust him to take excellent care of me because he has always done what was best for my condition. He is very professional knowledgeable and he cares about his patients. I never feel like hes in a rush to get to his next patient and hes never tried to put me on any medicine unless it was really needed. I would love it if all my doctors were like that. Hes a good guy a great solid doc and hes been my doc for 30 years and Im a doc too. So anyone that has written a bad review let me tell you this is your issue and not his. He is TOP of the line.

I June I had surgery for carotid artery. When return to see Dr. Blincoe I asked him about causes of my carotid arteries I take medicine for cholesterol but is normal I watch my diet and weight about 160 lbs .... His answer was sometimes it is BAD LUCK .... for real ??? Not what I expected from professional. Will not visit with him again.

Professional and office was clean and staff courteous.

Dr. Blincoe is an ideal physician in my opinion. He is a pleasant person to deal with and does not rush you out of the consult. He is a straight shooter and gives you the facts of your situation. I totally trust him and his team. If you need to ask a question you get a prompt call return from his office. If I have to wait a few minutes or more for my appointment I dont mind because I know that he is giving another patient the time needed to be comfortable with his assessmentadvice.

I was seen on an emergency basis by Dr. Blincoe. I have never been to his office. He performed a catherization and put in a stent at the hospital after diagnosing me with a massive heart attack. I would recommend Dr. Blincoe to anyone. He is very honest and upfront about what to expect what you should do to take care of yourself afterward. He is very straight forward and if you dont want the truth....dont ask. I would rather someone be upfront with me than play around...this is life...not a game.

I would never recommend Dr Blincoe to a friend due to the fact that he was condesending and abrupt when I questioned him about my medical situation. He was unaware that my husband that died was a Board Certified Medical Doctor also. I managed his practice for almost 20 years. I know more than average about my medical condition 44 years medical experience and I felt there was no point in telling him so after he seemed to assume I was ignorant medically. I am sure hed been uncomfortable. I just wanted to leave his presence. It was a rare experience. I regret it happened. I am sure he is a qualified cardiologist but my experience with him face to face was not a pleasant one.
