Woolfson Eye Institute ruined my vision. They promised "better" vision that would change my life. Now I'm stuck with co stand foggy, cloudy vision, horrible dysphotopsias that prevent me from being able to drive day or night, blurry vision, smeared vision, oily like look in vision, obstructive floaters. They've ignored my complaints and have labeled me a complaining patient. They oversold snd under delivered the results. I am absolutely NOT happy with my vision that I paid nearly $10k for. Woolfson ripped me off and then blew me off. I do not recommend them to anyone. Ladt doc I saw there was so rude and condescending that I walked out on him (Hays). I've never done that to anyone. I'm in a constant state of frustration with this awful vision and everyday is a struggle. It's made me miserable. Woolfson is the absolute worst experience of my life. I tegret ever going to them for help. They screwed me over.

So thrilled with my lasik and results! Dr Woolfson was amazing and I am so thankful to have had this life changing procedure done. Every single staff member I worked with was wonderful! I highly recommend them for a great start to finish experience and wonderful new vision!

I had cataract surgery at Woolfson Eye Institute and ended up with worse vision than before the procedure. I saw better before when wearing glasses or contacts. Now I see like someone with cataracts: foggy/hazy vision, blurry at all distances, out of focus, double vision, extreme glare, halos, and starburst, ghosting, swarms of floaters that I can’t see through…I have it all. I can’t drive at night because I cannot see the road - too dangerous. I struggle driving in daylight. Sunny days are awful for me. Can’t focus on the tv or computer screen. People’s faces start to fade out right in front of me. Woolfson Eye Institute really screwed me over. They blew me off for over a year after the surgery despite my constant complaints. Had a “follow-up” LASIK just made it all worse. Woolfson refuses to take accountability and has dismissed me as a “complaining patient.” They’ve been completely unreceptive to my concerns for over 3 years now and my life has been flipped upside down. My vision continues to get worse everyday, but the doctors at Woolfson will tell me my vision is within the “acceptable range.” My last visit with them was so unpleasant that I walked out on Dr. Hays after having enough of his unprofessional, condescending, and dismissive tone. If you ever find yourself walking into a Woolfson Eye Institute clinic, do yourself a favor and turn around and go someplace that actually care enough to deliver the “optimal results” they promise.

If you're looking for a doctor who has something of a bedside manner, or even a modicum of respect and listening skills, Dr. Brody IS NOT YOUR GUY. The person who referred me had said, "He's a smartass, but he's good". I had hoped to be a candidate for the TRIFOCAL LENS that I'd heard was so transforming. I was not, and I'd still need reading glasses post surgery. My decades old Radial Keratotomy surgery had left scars on my eyes, and that left 2 other LENS options. I opted for the TORIC LENS surgery, and scheduled the surgeries for each eye. I saw 2 other drs. for my 2 followup appts. for logistics reasons, and another with Dr. Brody on July 18th. We had a cruise departing Aug. 18th, and I wanted to know how much my eyes might CONTINUE TO ADJUST post surgery. It was clear, as anticipated, that I would need reading correction, but my distance vision had been really off during our drive there. His answer, "You just had RK surgery". I looked at him blankly, quite confused, and tried again to ask my question. From no more than 2 feet away, he barked, "WHAT?! YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT RK STANDS FOR?!" I answered that it stood for Radial Keratotomy, then looked at my husband and asked, "What is he talking about?" My husband said to Dr. Brody, "You keep saying that she just had RK surgery. She didn't. She had Toric Lens surgery." Without an apology or change in tone, his response (I kid you not), "SHE JUST HAD RK/TORIC LENS SURGERY", a procedure you won't find in any of Woolfson Eye Institute's glossy brochures, and clearly something he made up to cover his gaffe. His demeanor was nothing short of menacing and humiliating. I can easily say that in my 73 years, I have NEVER been treated so disrespectfully and unprofessionally, by anyone in the medical field. That appt. was on July 18th, 2025, and I still wonder if it was all worth it. The absence of cataracts is great. And that is likely all that should have been offered to me. Sometimes, the most accurate thing to say is, "We don't have anything for you, given the scars on your eyes, beyond cataract removal" My floaters are much more pronounced, and oncoming headlights at night are jarring. I wear my new glasses/prescription all of the time, and will go back to my previous optometrist for future needs. While most of the staff may be awesome (including Surgical Coordinators, Jennifer and Amelia), Dr. Brody should be avoided. His ego precedes him.

Just left without seeing Dr Brody. Waited almost 45 minutes and was told there were 5 people in front of me! My appointment last time with Dr Leff I was there over an hour and a half. No one kept me updated , there was another woman who said she was there over an hour ! My appointment was for 9:20, how does an office get so far behind that early! My time is valuable too if I arrived 45 mint late , do you think I would have been seen?!

I am one year post op from my LASIK and receiving this surgery from Dr. Woolfson is one of the best decisions I ever made. My local doctor wanted me to do a much more invasive surgery due to my thinner corneas, but it was no problem for Dr. Woolfson who has far more experience in this field. One day after surgery, I learned I was pregnant. I can't imagine dealing with these early days with my new baby and struggling to find my glasses or fiddling with contacts. Perfect vision with LASIK is so worth it.

I had an incredible experience with Dr. Woolfson and his team for my LASIK surgery. From start to finish, the process was smooth, professional, and reassuring. Dr. Woolfson’s expertise and calm, confident approach immediately put me at ease. He took the time to thoroughly explain the procedure, answer all of my questions, and make sure I felt comfortable every step of the way. The surgery itself was quick and virtually painless, and I was amazed at how soon I noticed the improvement in my vision. The staff at Woolfson Eye Institute were also outstanding—friendly, supportive, and attentive to every detail of my care. They made the entire experience stress-free and positive. Thank you @ Hannah @ David. I am so grateful to Dr. Woolfson for his skill and dedication. Choosing him for my LASIK was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, and I would highly recommend him to anyone considering vision correction surgery.
