Very encouraging visit. Medical Assn. Xray technicians very competent efficient courteous. Dr. Kao was extremely patient in explaining the details of my surgery in Laymans technical as well as terms a concerned patient could understand. She walked thru Xrays from presurgery and patiently identified prosthetic joint surgery rework even provided material of construction details for which I had expressed an interest during previous visits.My wife I walked away from checkup confident we had chosen right Physician for my complicated hip repair surgery

I already had two failed surgeries on my knee and was experiencing pain and difficulty walking. Dr. Kao operated on my knee six weeks ago and I have no pain and the use of my knee is normal. She is absolutely the best

Poor followup when postsurgery complications occur. Very slow to refer to other specialists and when she does there is absolutely no followup unsless the patient initiates it. Very disappointed in her.

She does not followup on findings from specialists to whom patient has been referred. So if there are complications after the surgery youre pretty much on your own

Dr Kao replaced both of my knees. On both occasions it made a tremendous improvement in my mobility and also resolved the pain. She is very knowledgeable and she is also very kind. She calls the day before surgery to check on patients and see if they have questions. She takes time with patients and always responds to questions and concerns. I would recommend her to anyone in need of hip or knee surgery.

Can I give my experience a 10?? I had my right hip replaced yesterday. I have been ignoring the pain for over 20 years osteoarthritis until it was boneonbone. I couldnt walk up stairs without pain at 8 or a 9. Dr. Kao was surprised that I hadnt consulted an orthopaedic doctor before. She is kind caring empathetic and instilled confidence in me to schedule surgery as soon as possible. To help ensure I was good candidate for the surgery she had me visit my primary care physiciandentist cardiologist and hemotologist. They all gave me the green light and I.was scheduled for 8 days later.

Most worthless doctor I have ever been to in my lift. Her line of defense is to take advil and see a physical therapist. I had pfps and ended up with permanent damage to cartilage because she did not explain my situation. Did not listen to how the symptoms started and did not care. Recommended physical therapy and then couldnt give another referral other than resurgeons. She only has remedial textbook non answers. DO NOT GO TO HER I am not sure how she made it through med school.
