Alliance Spine And Pain Centers's Online Review Report Card

I was referred by a nurse that works closely with the staff here so I am extremely grateful. Upon arrival to my first appointment Id completed everything online like all the emails asked and arrived 20 minutes before my appointment time. To my surprise my prefilled paperwork couldnt be found. I filled it out again. My 9am appointment turned into me being seen finally by the doctor at 1016am the time I normally leave my home to get to work on time I was late to work I was then held up longer by a drug screen given scripts I even asked if I could come back on the following day bc my job gave points for being late The script he told me usually isnt covered I know my job AUMC calls the facility back to get another option which they did they never contacted me again about. My followup appt after the MRI which I was told when I scheduled would be quick and this late thing wouldnt happen again so I scheduled for 930. I told them initially waking up to early is one of my migraine triggers the reason Im there in the first place. I got there at 910 was taking back immediately.... My nurse was awesome Only to head for the door at 1012 and be told by the PA youre medical you should know to allot at least an hour for doctors appointments. I work 5 days a week and I have medical problems so I can not come at 745am. So as Im running to the car and saying Ill call re schedule in the car I called was told there is no follow up appointment in the next month with the PA as Im saying OK THA I was hung up on

When going to a doctor you always want a skilled hand great depth of knowledge and intuition when getting injections. This is by far the best doctor for caudal injections and transforaminal epidural steroid injections. I’ve had both injections done in Tokyo Chicago Virginia Beach Okinawa and here in Augusta. Dr. Shah is the best of the best. Very attentive to complaints and great at actually pinpointing the area of where medication should be distributed to effectively relief pain for the longest amount of time possible. Which most know that placement and duration of lasting effects of an injection is different for each patient. Honestly those who are reading this get with the best doctor before he becomes inaccessible due to high demand for a preeminent doctor.

Staff is truly nice but my visit with the doc was awful

I am a white 70 year old drafted at 18 joined the USAF for 4 years to avoid being a ground pounding grunt. I know i would have been put right up on the point  I came back and got out and got Testicular cancer. That shit hurt like hell I think it like getting gut shot would be because it got in my kidney and spleen area it didnt get in my nads thank you holy father.  Anyhow what I want to tell you I got fixed with chemo Liquid platinum is put in the veins its a poison to the nervous system. The result is really bad it hurts like hell all the time it never quits. My doctor I went to go see. What a joke  She offered absolutely no help. I ask her for anything advice who could I go to what I could do. Nothing Ive done everything right all my life raised two successful sons. Now I need a little help and I wasted so much time money everything she apologized for wasting my time.  I had a bad day yesterday I had to go see a doctor who has a accent like a convenient store owner who basically told me to get out and stay out. I just think she picked a fight.   I want to know why I cant get the good things that are available for cheap $20month for over 20 years have been taking to helped me.  I guess you get my point? I am pissed with this treatment as if I am nothing.

Sweet kind smart Dr. First visit seeing her two weeks ago and felt very good vibes. She listened to me and explained everything in grave detail. Im scheduled for my first spinal injection on 12721 1015am. And another one two weeks after that. Prayerfully that will provide some relief for my back. Highly recommend Update 12921 Its a miracle. I feel like a brand new person. Way less pain and Im healing nicely. Thank God 🙏

Every year you have to fill out detailed paperwork even if nothing changed same name same address same pharmacy same meds. Absolutely nothing is prefilled so you could check the same. No matter how good the doctors are this is totally ridiculous. If you werent in pain before arriving you definitely would be before leaving In this day and time please make our lives easier AllianceOct 2020 update i upgraded to 2 stars because Alliance has started prefilling the above info but it is still abount 10 pages of tiny print that you have to review or complete. I had 3 visits in a 5 week period and had to complete the same 10 pages for each visit... Totally ridiculous what could possibly change in 5 weeks With covid they should at least offer previsit registration. Get with the times Alliance. Or loose valuable clients.

Wow so disappointed at this Augusta office. Main line hub that you call in Atlanta has always been great but I wont be back 👎

This practice is absolutely first class. The staff were very professional and hekpful. My physician is amazingly brilliant and helped me tremendously. I wouldnt go to any other pain management clinic because this is by far the best of the best.

Out of 4 visits Ive only been seen once by a doctor for approximately 10 minutes. During my visits Ive experienced long wait times and untrained employees. I once waited 45 minutes in a treatment room and they evidently forgot I was back there.Ive never been seen by the doctor to assess two MRIs and the nurse practitioner only guesses what may be wrong with me. They only know to inject the patients and hope the problem goes away. They do not assess properly. Each time I go there I explain my problems to a different person although they have my charts. I dont recommend this place. I dont know why the VA recommends it for veterans. Must be some time of under the table agreement.
