List of Andrew Forgay's Reviews
I highly recommend Dr Andrew Forgay. He is an anesthesiologist and I trust him. He is excellent in pain management.
This man is horrible! Got upset when I refused an injection of cortisone in my back and said nothing I can do for you! See a real MD and am told the shot wouldn’t have helped! 3 weeks later had surgery! I see another Dr for pain management I guess worked with Forgay and wow what a difference in the the two!
AVOID HIM. I was his patient for years. I have had FIVE massive/radical back surgeries and been on OxyContin for twenty years. I always took it as directed and never abused it. The last appointment he switched me to Tylenol #3. I like him to the extent that I gave him a Masters shirt for his genuine gracious sincere, at that time, concern. He was not even professional enough to see me the last time. He sent his PA to tell me. I sent him a copy of the Oath of Hypocrites but doubt he had the fortitude to read it I am a born again Christian and thank my Lord for the compassionate doctor that He sent me to. He is a disgrace to the medical profession! Sends his PA to do the work that he is not MAN enough to face. DO NOT even consider him.
Forgay has , because of his incompetence, caused me untold grief, pain and economic problems. My Doctor referred me to this guy in 2017 with an MRI in hand. At the time, I thought I was seeing an actual neurosurgeon for an evaluation. The guy leaves the room to look at my mri cd, comes back and tells me “ I don’t see anything in your lumbar spine that would be causing you the pain you describe ( hip, groin, leg) This guy, I find out later is an anesthesiologist! Why is he giving people spine condition consults? Long story short, after many other specialists checking me out only to say they can’t help (I told them I’ve been to Augusta Back and they ruled out spine issue) I end up closing down a once thriving business and my house and moving. This was due to disabling pain and could no longer work. I then see a proper neurosurgeon in Detroit Mich area. Turns out Forgay can’t read an mri properly. Do not trust this guy! Run away as fast as you can. He basically ruined me.
Extremely horrible. He is a arrogant self-centered confrontational physician. I will not allow him to touch 1 person in my family. He walked in asked what was wrong. History was extensive so I told him he would probably need to take a seat. He began hollering at me and stated he can't help me. Asked me to squeeze his hand because I had the look of fear. I said Sir you had me to pay $45 to refuse treatment. Unsure of what my insurance paid. But hey Karma will eventually happen to this narcissist. One of these days him or his family will suffer. God is omnipotent and the power is almighty. I would not take my dead dog there for him to treat. Save your time and money!
I went to Doctor Forgay for about a year he did one shot and one PT then he came into my room screamed at me and in with my wife there called me a drug addict just coming to get med. He never checked I had 6 herniated docs. He is such a JERK I would not let him treat my dead dog not say my live dog.
When in evans he was personable and treated ba k and hips. I was extremely helped .after moving to neorscuience group only went once as were treated like cattle going to slaughter. No feillng in legs and fell, some feeling still lost. In follow up visit nurse or pa could have care less. Best of luck as he will be sued at some time, sorry to see who i Once loved hie service and skills.
I was unfortunately a patient due to my doctor leaving the practice. My very first appointment under his care I was advised by the PA he had some unfortunate news. I was being taken off my medications. I had not even been seen by this doctor. I had been on the medications less than a year and was finally beginning to have relief from chronic pain. When I asked why, I was told this doctor does not want to prescribe pain medications. A pain management doctor who doesn't prescribe pain medications? He either doesn't care about you or your quality of life, or he only cares about money. I'm sure there is more money in procedures than simple office visits and writing prescriptions. Unfortunately not everyone can afford certain treatment and some rely on medication for relief. After reading reviews for this doctor I am glad I won't be his patient.
Worst. Doctor ever. Rude and don't care for patients.
Arrogant, heartless dr playing with the lives of patients in pain. It's no wonder why all the other MDs in his office left him. Don't count of him to help you with your pain, he adds to it. Do yourself a favor and find another dr that will listen and wants to help you manage your daily life of pain. HE HASN'T EVEN SEEN ME, but the PA I've seen everytime from his office for the past year and a half had a plan, was very helpful to me, but now that Dr. Forgay is the only MD, he has the final say...and he cut my meds down by more than half and called that in instead! Its Tramadol for God's sake!! Not percocet or anything. I am going to report him to the GA Medical board for this.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
