Waited 6 months for an appt just to see a PA. Now another 5 months before they can do A biopsy to figure out what’s wrong. Hope I’m not dead by then. Staff was friendly
Does not go here ..my sister has been suffering for years medicine after medicine.and then told surgery. Then went insurance went ary it was surgery may not work.now things are worse. .she needs the surgery and she is to so a surgern a month from now .more suffering .oh and the indigent program is home so no meds to expensive and no help.go only If you have money.di not let. A certain p.a her fool you she doesn't care ... Neither does the female surgeon named Jane again unless you got money. Also no one has called about results from her tests.
Don't trust your care to this department. They fix nothing and cause additional issues. A hiatal hernia and throat closure with choking on food for years should have been fixed the first time they did EGD procedure which student fellow doctor was extremely rough on my body with Exam. I understand it's a teaching hospital and they have little experience. Had a very aggressive rude nurse too who put me on a hight drip and blew up my legs. Now having a rt. Leg issue with fluid stuck in leg and rash. Take your business elsewhere to be safe.
My husband has gone to them for gi problems. They won't listen to you and they do not know how to take blood, we are going somewhere else to get blood taken. These are quacks. They are experimenting on people. Do not go here, unless you have a death wish.
So as of today I change my opinion of this place. I'm June if last year was told I need surgery .I was having to much abnormal acid. Loose weight and surgery will fix issue .. so six months visit I'm suddenly told try this medication with other medication.Im in pain I have told them stomach feels like it's in my throat. I need to be checked .I'm told keep taking the medicine a little longer and we will see.so basically I lost insurance due to job loss for disability.so Medicaid apparently gets out in the back burner no matter how sick you are So If you have no money .and low insurance it nothing you are screwed
So far I’ve had terrible results with this doctors office. They do not care about helping people they get you in as fast as they can get you out. They don’t listen to how you feel, they write whatever they feel in the provider notes. They never call about results or anything for that matter. To even get testing or appointments you have to wait months out just ridiculous when you’re dealing with a big issue such as GI.
Dr. Rao is the most knowledgeable person I have met. His staff saved my life! Yes it takes time to see him due to limited availability, however it is worth it! I have SIBO and he help cure it.
I attempted to call several times with no answer. Parking is extremely limited with no handicap parking. and most of the building was locked only one entrance was open.
If I could give no stars I would. I was diagnosed with SIBO in April 2019. Dr Sinfuetos put me on xfaxian. I lost 92 lbs since April. Still have disabling abdominal pains. Dr told me that's due from SIBO. Called triage nurse a month later to have them inform the DR I lost all that weight because I hurt and can't eat or drink. They informed me that it's not the SIBO causing the pain. Dr told me if I get any serious side effects to call right away. I got the hives from head to toe. That was one month ago and 5 calls later to his office answering machine and not 1 call back. In fact I called one day someone answered and didn't say nothing. I'm screaming HELLO. About 30 second later they hung up
Dr Rao is amazing! He takes the time to listen to my concerns or questions and never rushes me at my appointments. He explains things to where I can understand my conditions and treatments. He sincerely cares about his patients and their wellbeing. I have nothing but great things to say about Dr Rao.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
