What is wrong with this place cant never get through to your doctor. Although he is there but once in a blue moon .I was told several times if I need to be seen I could be squeezed in .but that is not happening. I had issues all day yesterday .and no help. They do have other doctors there and. Nurse practioners but nothing being done.I guess I have to wait till I have a heart attack and hope I survive to get help. What is going on with Augusta University They are awful now the way they treat patuents.
This has been the most unprofessional experience with the provider. I was seeing two different providers at this location for two different things. Dr. Herriebe and his nurse are very unprofessional and lack communication with their patients. The nurse Amy has been rude since I started going to this establishment. I had an appointment that was canceled without me knowing and I showed up at the appointment and the nurse was very rude to me. I hope that no one decides to go to this office at least not be taken care of by these two professionals. Seeing a cardiologist is a scary thing so when you're going through this experience the last thing that you should have to worry about is the nasty comments and attitude of the staff.
Do not see Dr Bethel she only cares about insurance and not actually helping the person with their problems. Needs to do more research on how things can affect hypertension and heart rate.
If I could give this place 0 zero stars I would. I was referred here by the doctor I saw in the ER at AU for a heart monitor to be placed. I had the monitor placed for 7 days (week of Thanksgiving) and never received my results even though I was told I'd be contacted in 72hrs. I've called numerous times and still no resolution. Finally, spoke with someone today that actually seemed to care (Thank you, Regina!) and now will hopefully hear something by Wednesday!
Awesome care was giving to me doing my time in the ER!
Been coming here for years
They are always kind and polite! Sometimes you do have to wait ,but that's only because of the nature of the illnesses..If a Doctor gets called in for an emergency ! I can understand Seeing that I have been that patient who had an emergency! Great Doctors! Great Staff! Great Hospital!
Have visited twice for preventive/routine care while patient at GA Cancer (eg, monitoring possible cardiac side effects). Not a great deal of understanding of women’s health and needs of cancer care. They may be wonderful for cardiac health, but my observation is they haven’t much experience with either women or people who have had cancer treatment.
Luckily, never had to be patient here. But several friends have and I used to work in cardiac rehab so got to know the docs. I can honestly say they are all great and really care for their patients. Some may be tougher to work for because they demand excellence, but I think patients reap the benefit of their high standards. GRU has created a strong service for anyone with Heart Rhythm issues (afib, pacemakers, ICD's). Also great care for vein issues, CABG, and general cardiac care.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
