here we are day 3 of still no one contacting me about my mil!! I guess news station come Tuesday. plz don't take ur family here, all staff do not care
Here we go again with the terrible billing department. Was billed for two days of service for my child but she was only seen one day. Bill was way more than what it was supposed to be. Called and was put in review multiple times but still received bills. Bill was only supposed to be around $55 but was over $400. Get a final notice dated on 9/20 for the right amount in the mail. Also in the mail box was a Bill from collections dated 9/23 for the erroneous amount of over $400. Called and was told too late turned over to collections. So not only have they committed insurance fraud because the insurance company paid on the erroneous bill @southcarolinabluecrossblueshield but now they are trying to screw me in paying the wrong bill. This is the second time in 5 years I have had problems with AU medical billing. I will be contacting the Georgia insurance commissioner for the fraudulent charges they have made.
Nursing staff was helpful and informative. The doctors, had a complete disregard for my pain and condition. I finally saw one willing to surgically intervene, and haven't been able to get a call back about follow up care after the surgery didn't go as intended.
I wish I could do zero star
While I've had incredibly good experiences with the doctors, this last time I was quite disappointed with my appointment for surgical follow-up with one of the nurse practitioners. It was clear that she was in a rush to get out of the exam room with me and just on down the hall. I had questions to ask that I never got a chance to, and even though I told her I was having a lot of trouble remembering one of my medications (specifically due to severe memory issues from a tbi in 2018), she just said, "you have to take that medicine twice a day, just set a reminder in your phone!" As if I, at 53 years old, am too uneducated (?), mentally handicapped (?), acting like I just don't want to take it (?), or like I am too stupid to figure out to try using the reminders on my phone?? Seriously?? After I already told her that those were not working for me?? I know I don't have a medical degree of any kind, however, I think I might know a little bit about me, myself, and I, and probably a good bit about my health, my psychology, and my practical capabilities regarding such things. After all, I did make it to the appointment on time... Not pleased with her attitude, demeanor, or how she just brusquely dismissed everything I said and ignored every question I had.
After having a C-Section I caught a flesh eating bacteria called Necrotizing Fasciitis. It was a long and painful process after the surgeries.I had to have a wound vac and twice weekly wound vac changes. The doctor who did my wound vac changes was Resident OBGYN DR Paterniti. He did amazing on my wound care and made sure I was completely taken care of.He took the time each week to make sure that he came over to the clinic in the medical office building and changed my wound dressing. He was very dedicated to making sure I got the help and the care I needed. He asked me each time how my pain was and helped me with pain management in the best way possible as well by prescribing me the proper medications. He is extremely loyal to his patients and very nice and caring. He made sure to always ask me about my daughter in the NICU and how she was doing ,each visit.DR Paterniti is an amazing doctor! The OBGYN staff and postpartum staff are incredible!Resident Doctor Stokes is amazing. She is probably the most dedicated DR I met.She was always there .I got in a wreck at 24 weeks pregnant and she was there,I went in to labor at 29 weeks and she was there pretty much the whole time and delivered my daughter and after I came back for 2 additional surgeries for the flesh eating bacteria she was there. She was so personable and caring and ALWAYS made sure she would explain everything to me so I understood what was happening and she is so sweet and such a bad***!!!!she is smart and very caring! DR Braun is literally a life saver. She saved my life along with the oncologist here. She knew exactly what to do in the situation I was in and wasted no time at all getting me the treatment I needed and setting up surgeries for me to survive.Without her I wouldn’t be here and I’m so thankful! The labor and delivery and post partum nurses are AMAZING.After spending 3 weeks in the hospital with them, they became like family. They are so so loving and completely caring and compassionate. They make sure they tell you who they are and check on you as much as possible and do anything you need .They are the most amazing nurses and I can’t compliment them enough on how awesome they are!Along with the amazing NICU staff who have taken care of my daughter for now a month and a half. They are all very helpful and answer any questions and tell me any updates.I’m so thankful they are here to keep my baby girl alive and healthy!Thank you NICU nurses!! DR Ray was my OBGYN during my extremely high risk pregnancy. He wasn’t there during my delivery but definitely made sure that the entire staff of OBGYN’s knew exactly how to handle me and want to do.He has a great bedside manner and is funny and answers any questions you have!He is busy but an amazing DR as well!
Worst Hospital Billing ever! I’ve been fighting with them for 18 MONTHS! They billed insurance incorrectly then billed me incorrectly. They still cannot figure out how to correct their mistake. They put our account in review and told me not to pay and then sent it to collections! Said they would bring that back out of collection and still haven’t done that either. They still haven’t fixed any of the mistakes. We have called hundreds of times and are constantly told someone will call us back... Guess what?! It never happens. Ridiculous!
The ENT department is neither accommodating nor sensitive to my being seen in a timely manner. I was given an 8 AM hearing test which lasted for 30 minutes. However, I could not see the ENT until my scheduled appointment at 11:00 AM., which means I had to sit in the lobby for over two hours because the staff refused to work me in. I will not be going back.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
