Takes his time with you and answers questions.
Very weird guy. Off the charts weird. Price is definitely not patient-focused or even competent, if mumbling into his recording device but never once speaking directly to me is any indication. I will never visit Price again if he was the last neurologist on Earth.
From the beginning of my husband's appointment to the conclusion, Dr. Price showed little interest in listening to past medical history of my husband's affliction. We are new to the area and my husband needs a neurologist to continue his successful treatment with meds that are specially formulated. On his computer notes, Dr. Price indicated that the meds could continue and be prescribed by our primary doctor. On another set of notes that were in the computer, he indicated that he did not approve of the side effects, which we are completely aware of, and did not approve of the continuance of the meds. Luckily, we had the printout of the notes that indicated that our primary doctor could continue to prescribe this very important medicine. My husband experienced a complete lack of confidence in this doctor, therefore, we have now continued my search for another doctor of neurology. Dr. Price gave little or no credence to the extensive medical records from the UCLA neurological research center. I was under their care for and participated in a study of ataxia causes for 4 years, which led to the treatment (compounded meds) that got me out of a wheelchair. and on my feet. I do not recommend Dr. Price!
Price is ok but the majority of the staff and office personnel are terrible. Rude and slow. Your time doesn't matter. If you are late and even call ahead you're treated like bad children. Wait time is 3 hours on a good day. Your messages aren't related properly and they are slow to return info. Don't waste your time. Dr Price should leave and go to another practice.
Dr Price is absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend him!! The back office staff is awesome!! the staff that works the front desk, (not all of them) but there is a couple of females that are horrible and act like they really hate their job & are just plain rude for no reason at all. When I say the office environment needs improvement, I mean ONLY at the front desk. It’s a great office environment once you get past the front desk.
He is NOT accepting new patients. 7/27/2020
Dr. Price is our Primary Dr; has been my Dr. for 8 yrs. Thorough, patient and very kind! 5??s
Been with Dr. Price for 9 years now. Completely satisfied with him. His staff tends to overbook and visits are unusually long waiting to get in the exam room, and another while before he gets to you. He’s a thorough doctor though so that may also play into the equation of time lag. Still with him though!
His website has great reviews, but I think those people were semi-conscious. If I could give no stars at all, I would, but even no stars is too generous. 1st appointment he tried to refuse me. Why? I have a service dog who alerts me to seizures and he's right about 95% of the time. After he was repeatedly told he can be fined, he begrudgingly saw me. His bedside manner is just above someone who's dead, which is what I would rather be than have him as my neurologist. My primary refilled a medication for me for migraines but said the neurologist needs to fill the rest. Well, he refused and dead is a real possibility considering the medication is also a beta-blocker and I have already had a heart attack. This is something he would have known had he taken the time to either look over my chart, TALK to me, or get off of his bluetooth long enough to make me feel like he knew I was there. He likes (loves, actually) to interrupt, cut you off, walk out of the room WHILE YOU'RE TALKING TO HIM, and is very good at demeaning. I told him this medication I was on for migraines wasn't working and I joked about botox. Then repeated that it wasn't working and told him about my family history of migraines. I was in the medical profession for 17 years, not office, all hospital and ER so I've interacted with soooooo many doctors and I fully believe this joke of a neurologist should have his medical license revoked. Seriously, don't waste your time
I’ve only had two visits, but so far so good! I should preface my comment by mentioning that I’m a seasoned nurse, with ample exposure to physicians, medicine and medical treatments. I’m relatively new to the Augusta area, so I had to first do my research when looking for another GP. His professional profile looked good, along with feedback on healthgrades. He’s covering all the bases with appropriate tests on each issue of concern. The office is very busy, but so far interactions have been fine

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
