Unfortunately my family member had a not so good experience at this office. Their appointment was in the morning. There were clients going in the back after they arrived. By the time my family member was taken to the back they had been there 2 hours. Now it's there time to be called to the back. Only to wait another 2 hours. Horrible time management but she's Dr. JEFFERS is MAKING MONEY.
PLEASE CHOOSE ANOTHER FACILITY. I was having GI issues. This place had availability so I went to see Dr. Jeffers. The office is outdated. It appears to be an old office building. The rooms have curtains (no doors) and the table is a hospital bed/gurney. There are no sinks/plumbing in the rooms. Dr. Jeffers was cold and uninterested in what I had to say and booked me for a procedure that I felt I didn't need and expressed I didn't need. They do EVERYTHING on paper, nothing electronically. I was given a prescription that I had a reaction to. I called about this at 8:30am Friday morning and received a return call AT 2:00PM Tuesday afternoon. I was told the Dr. was doing procedures all day Friday and Monday. Again it's 2:00pm Tuesday (what happened to Tuesday morning?) I informed them I was going to see another GI specialist and to cancel the procedure. This was today 05/17/22. The procedure is 06/09/22. I spoke to Joyce. I called back and got someone else who said she still saw the procedure in the system, put me on hold, and came back and said Joyce was in the process of cancelling it. I asked for a cancellation confirmation via email. She said they don't do that and assurred me the procedure was cancelled. I explained I didn't want to be charged when I did not show up to the procedure and she advised that I would not be. Just overall not a pleasant experience. I would NOT recommend.

Great physician, very caring
I was scheduled for a colonoscopy at 12 noon. .I got to the office at 11:45am...keep in mind I hadn't had any food since 10am the morning before..I sat in the waiting area for 3 long hours before being called back, I stayed in the exam area for 2 more hours finally got sent back for the procedure after 5 hours of waiting...another hour for the procedure after all that time they rushed me to get dressed after 15 minutes after the procedure and the dr still couldn't tell me what my stomach issues were...I was so weak after not eating for almost 36 hours...and they rushed me to get up after all that sedation..if you dont wanna wait for at least 5 hours I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS DOCTOR!!!
Waited two and half hours+ to see her (not counting the 20 minutes that I was early for the appointment). She sent me for a scan and still has not gotten back with the results, even after I called about asking for them and it has been days since I called.
Will never return! My appointment was today at 11:45 am, I arrived at 11:35 because I respect my doctors time. I arrived to a waiting room full of people, that was concerning to begin with. I was not called into a patient room until 12:45, that's one hour after my appointment time. By 1:15 I got up and left. I notified the nurse first. The nurse tried to tell me that each patient that was seen today had issues that resulted in the super crazy delay. Which is funny because the receptionist told me a totally different story, her story was that they had an emergency in the morning which resulted in the delays. So I told the nurse that the receptionist had a different story. She said yes there was an emergency this morning which did result in delays. I asked "Shouldn't that have warranted a call to me to let me know that you were running more than an hour late per patient and then given me the option to reschedule or take my original appointment?" Of course I got the run around, each patient is different and their treatment is different. Ok, you obviously have a scheduling issue considering the other reviewer stated he waited over 90 minutes. As a patient it's important that the doctor and their staff respect my time. My time is worth just as much as theirs is. I always respect my doctors time by showing up early and never cancelling within 24 hours. After leaving and heading home so I could eat lunch before returning to my busy job I got a call from the nurse. No joke it was now 1:45, two hours after my original appointment, the nurse stated that if I came back right now the doctor would be available to see me. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? TWO HOURS AFTER MY APPOINTMENT TIME. I flat out told the nurse that I would not give my money to a doctor that doesn't respect the time of her patients. I am happy to take my business else where. In the future I will be sure to read reviews before I book. This was a huge waste of my day! Do yourself a favor and don't schedule with this office unless you have at least two hours to waste.
I called to set up a new patient appointment and her office staff advised me because I had seen another GI Dr. previously she would not see me, I wanted a second opinion to make sure I have a fully rounded view of how to handle my illness and she did not give me that chance, CANCER is not a joke and I am shocked she would tell her staff to do this, Physicians do consults for second opinions all the time. Definitely wouldn't recommend any MD who shuts a patient down at the first phone call.
This is a lovely office with a warm and caring staff starting with the receptionist who is most engaging and very efficient. Dr. Jeffers is an excellent doctor who knows what she is doing and really wants to help the patient. I would trust Dr. Jeffers to perform any required medical procedure, as she is competent and quietly self-assured. I found this office through the Medicare site and felt as though I hit the jackpot. It's hard to find friendly offices that also have a first-class doctor on board. Show up with a good attitude and you will be treated so well!
This specialist & her employees were VERY unprofessional.I wouldn't send my enemy to this practice.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
