Quantum Radiology typically does not interface with patients for WellStar imaging services for X-ray, CT and MRI services; instead, the radiologist writes a report using only the digital images. In this particular case, Dr. Moyers wrote a report on the first of three X-rays of a Sitz study, which is absolutely worthless and taken out of context given the nature of this test and a meaningful report should compare all three X-rays which were taken over a span of five days. However, I am confident that my insurer will receive a charge since my historical experience with Quantum is that their very best skill is invoicing and payment collection, NOT patient related care. I really wish WellStar would move to a different provider. On a positive note, I have physician(s) who are highly capable of understanding test images, so the radiologist report will not impact or influence my healthcare plan.
