List of Piedmont Urgent Care - Barrow's Reviews
I went there today around 12:30pm because of a chest strain I’ve had from a car accident a few years ago…the lady at the front desk basically made a face to me and refused me. She said that I needed to have an appointment which I didn’t know we needed to.. and then said that I needed to go to the ER instead.. honestly it made me upset because this is “URGENT CARE” and it sure was not. I always come to this place and never had any problems but this will be my last.
I arrived this morning for a Covid test because my wife tested positive here last night. Sure enough I tested positive too. The doctor referred both my wife and my self to have an antibiotic infusion done at their Atlanta facility. Atlanta called and said they have no appointments until January 13th which would be too late for the infusions. They advised for me to call back urgent care and have them refer us to somewhere else. I called them back and the hateful lady that answered the phone said, “Sorry. That’s the only place we refer. Contact your primary care doctor.” I told them I didn’t have a primary care doctor because I just moved here from out of state a few months ago. Lady said there was nothing more they could do. WOW! FIRST AND LAST TIME I WILL EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE! I do not recommend this place. If you need service, not only you need to find a different urgent care, but make sure it is under a different healthcare group. My wife is in worse situation because she is diabetic and has had heart surgery in the past. She is at high risk health than I am, and it’s the same results for her. So we stick it out and hope we don’t die over the neglect from this healthcare facility
You know the nationwide government mandated insurance covered covid tests for free. Yeah they charge $150 for that. That should be enough of a sign of how much of a con this place is.
Great people very good customer service
Everyone there was so nice, it didn't take long to get my test done and Dr Patel is awesome.
I'm sorry I had a 3pm appointment for my child, who has been vaccinated and testednegative! followed all the steps to speed up check in and since my child has a large number of medical problems I have everything wrote out and organized because they never give u enough room on the form they want u to feel out.. my child has heart problems, lupus and Asthma and the heat of the day rhe last place u wanna be is outside in a car regardless of a/c. They make us wait outside but yet there were other people that came in without a mask that were allowed to stay inside then after we r told to come around back we see them come out of the building and drive around back n while we yet waiting again to be called into the building we serious someone come out to give them a covid test!Explain why some were allowed to stay inside and other were not....Yes the Dr was nice but come on
Dr Patel was very patient, kind. Nurse was very pleasant. Both helpful. Would definitely visit again.
Slow slow slow.
4th time calling they finally answer.I drove here before calling the 4th time and they say they're at maximum capacity. There is not a single person in the waiting room and only one car in the parking lot. So much for health care providers more like SC um
This is the worst experience ever the staff are rude and not patient friendly. I wish I had not chosen to come here…. I know the next time.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
