If I could give less then 1 star I would. That offices motto should be your healthcare is our business not our concern. Told the Dr in my appointment my insurance would not cover certainly medications. They were prescribed anyway. Several phone calls back and forth with office staff. Was told to call my insurance with questions. I did. Called them back with the answers that they could of easily gotten themselves instead of me being the middle man. No one answers their phone, so always leaving messages. 3 weeks and no one would call me back. Huge waste of time and money. I left a message again about how I felt blown off, if they were not going to return my calls, then cancel my follow up appointment. I got no call back, just a notice from the St Lukes app saying my appointment was cancelled. Patient beware!!
I saw Dr Choudhry once. She didnt seem too bad at the time. But her office staff leaves a lot to be desired. LeighAnne her PA is another problem. I asked dr Choudhry about the new diabetes medicines and she told me that they would not be good for me because of a heart condition and thought I should have nutrition counseling and try to change my diet first. Well my next visit was with LeighAnne and she is pushing for me to go on one of these new medicines before I even take the nutrition classes and make changes! Also I called for a prescription for test strips for the new meter their diabetes counselor gave me and I specifically left a message that I had a new meter and what kind of meter it was. Instead of listening to what I wanted ,the staff just sent the script for the old meter and also a three month supply. My records clearly state that I only want a one month supply due to financial problems. I wasnt able to pick them up right away and the pharmacy told me that they had to special order them, so I just assumed they were correct. I disposed of my old meter. So now Im out $45 for a three month supply of test strips I cant use, The insurance company will not approve more for another three months. When I called Dr Choudhrys office the clerk that answered said that there is nothing that they can do except send another script for the correct ones. I told her that I just wont be able to test my blood sugar for the next three months and she kept insisting that I had to, I kept asking how if I dont have money to buy the correct ones. I ended up telling her that Id find another dr and then hung up on her. She was so rude, kept arguing with me and inferred that it was all my fault. When I specifically said in my message that it was a new meter that was on my record and exactly which meter it was. Its a shame that these Dr offices have to have such incompetent help. I wont be driving 45 minutes away from home to see a dr in an office that is so incompetent. Dr Choudrhy maybe good but never got a chance to prove herself to me because of her staff.
Doesnt take the time to understand patients needs, disrespectful. Do not waste money and time!
Seen this Dr twice only for her to not be concerned with my symptoms. She would continue to recite labs to me that I already knew the DX for. Also have many nodules she was not concerned about. If its not textbook she doesnt care. Since then have gone to Dr. Subaran and she dug deeper and found I have a problem with my free T4 and now on medicine for. A BIGThank you to my NEW Dr!
Very rude. Told me she was done with me and to have my primary care physician figure out what is wrong with me. Did not order all of the necessary tests.
Tthis doctor and office are a disgrace to St. Lukes Hospital. Sara is a bully. She is a terrible representation of a woman doctor. I found here to have a great sense of entitlement and just not a nice person. Her nurse Alma is also not kind or her office staff. I walked out very disgusted and will never go back. St. Lukes needs to do something about her and this practice.
TERRIBLE doctor. Arrogant and uncaring. She does not care about the patient. All she does is sits and tells you the ranges for lab results, does not listen to your symptoms.
Dr. Choudhry was very responsive and answered all my questions at my first appointment. Unfortunately that was where the bedside manner stopped. I have to call and beg practically in tears to have an order for blood work as well as wait a month and a half for an appointment. Whether my TSH is too high or too low all they do is adjust my medicine. In the last year my medicine has changed 5 times but no other tests have been done(despite my insistence). Her nurse is very rude and truly does not seem to care about the patients, I have gotten into several heated arguments with her for refusing to release my test results to me. I dread having to call her office for any concerns because I know Dr. Choudhrys nurse will be the one calling me back. If youre looking for a doctor to just push pills and not really help you with your condition Id go to her office. If you want real help and a responsive and respectful staff look elsewhere.
Today was the second time I have seen Dr. Choudhry and I am not pleased. The first time I saw her I was not happy with her manner of discussing my condition and requested to see another doctor in the practice that I have seen in the past. I was told I could not choose another doctor and had to see her. Today was the first time I have left a doctors office in tears, not because of my condition, but because of her unwillingness to listen or care about my concerns/problems. If you need to see a doctor in this practice I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Doll who is the doctor I saw originally and loved, and whom they refused to allow me to see this time because I just happened to be scheduled with Dr. Choudhry last time.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
