If this is the Dr. Alan Sanders who works with Homestead Hospice as the Medical Director he is a horrible person. My precious husband passed away 2 weeks ago and he has yet to sign the death certificate. My heart is broken and he is adding to my distress by ignoring all requests to sign the certificate .How cruel and rude can a person be?He should not be allowed to be the medical director of thia organization.

Reply efforts for scheduling follow up and referrals are terrible. I played phone tag because of their lack of effort and one call try for 2 weeks before getting an appointment. Then waited 8 days before the referral for surgeon finally contacted me. Their answering machine is their favorite tool.

I love Dr Sanders he knows his stuff and cares about his patients more than any Doctor around Blairsville that I have seen in a long time

Left a message for return call.Should have known there is a staff issue when the record message said dont make repeated calls and leave message.Left a message and 48 hours later NO RETURN CALLGuess they have too many patients to care.

Dont expect a call back for a few days for sick visit 3 experiencesthen told to go to his clinic or ER for treatment Live person never answers phone.No option to leave a message for a nurse.Every call goes to voicemail and may or may not be returned.The nurse did not get my messages regarding outside cardiac MD medication changes and has no explanation why. If you are sick or need a physiciango elsewhere.

My husband has survived leukemia but still needs an attentive Physician thorough examines and prompt service on med refills. We have spent days and several phone calls trying to get refills. We have not received the attention I feel is needed. We you have lived on prayers for 5 years you become jittery. My husband is not a hypocondriac and does not run to Dr. or Hospital until absolutely necessary. Dr. Sanders is a very nice and I think capable Dr. He just needs to slow down some.
