Bed bedside manners does not answer questions where the husband ask washins look at the husband very stupidly would I asked her how many times has he done the surgery she did not even give me an answer she and gnawed my questions I asked a this any alternatives but she use it up she ready side the papers very really really rude.

Dr Mercer delivered my second son in 1994 and dr Leon smith whom I loved delivered my firstborn. It has been a long time but my experience with her was awful. She was rude and condescending to both my husband and myself. It has bothered me years. She is very respected in Athens so this review is something I needed to do. Dr Mercer made our beautiful moment terrible. Just needed to express my feelings. God bless. Dr Reuben and dr Leon Smith.

My wife had an ectopic pregnancy and a ruptured filopian tube. Dr. Cynthia Mercer was one of the people that helped save her life. She performed a successful surgery and I was impressed by how knowledgeable intelligent and caring she was.

Had a new pt appt for over a month referred by an IM doc. The day before rcvd a text confirming appt. Responded “yes”. Arrived at office 10 minutes late new to area and didn’t allow for traffic waited 10 minutes to be called to window. Was chastised for being late that I couldn’t be seen bc I had not completed the online health paperwork. No one said this was needed. Was told I could complete the paperwork and they would reschedule appt. Condescending not friendly and unprofessional.

Had an appointment for a month. Then never heard from the office again until I called to confirm my appointment that day long behold they didnt have me in their list its very disappointing when you waited that long. Just incompetent

Dr. Mercer is quite thorough in her exam and very knowledgeable. Her office is very clean and her staff so professional in addition to being pleasant and friendly. I would definitely recommend this gynecologist.

My Wife and I were visiting from from another state and Dr. Mercer assisted in saving my wifes life She is very knowledgeable

Dr. Mercers bedside manner is satisfactory but rushed and disinterested. Her office insists on a lengthy online survey prior to the initial visit and I was uncomfortable with how her staff handled my information. Twice she was called away to deliveries but there is no backup plan and the staff didnt announce to those of us waiting that our appointments were cancelled so we sat there over 30 minutes. She doesnt follow up well and her staff are impolite. The phone system is also poor.

she seems to really care for my well being. Dr.mercer is always ready and willing to answer any questions or concerns.

I have been seeing Dr Mercer to 15 years and have always thought her to be thorough and very professional. She has always spent what I felt was an adequate amount of time during the visit. Sometimes there is a wait but she most likely gets behind because she does spend the extra time with each patient. Shes not a touchy feely hand holder but is pleasent and professional and very knowledgeable which is what you want in a doctor
