List of Scott Ainsworth's Reviews
Very unprofessional in that he scolded and shamed me for most of my visit because I CHOSE NOT to be Vaccinated. His main reason was that the hospital beds were taken up with the unvaxed and he could not do his normal procedures for a while $$$ lost ?He said the unvaxed come to the hospital now expecing treatment...well YES that is what hospitals are for how many die of the flu in hospitals every year? I was also told that I could die of covid and I said I was more afraid of the VAX or getting run over by a truck. At which point he said you could also die if I accidentally perforated your colon during your procedure. I Left VERY upset and out $45 and 2 hrs of my life that I will never get back. All he had to say was I strongly suggest the Vaccine... but he went on and on about all the examples of people dying Watches too much CNN I reckon
Absolutely
Scott is only concerned about money. We received a bill on Wednesday and had an appointment on the following Monday. We were in a waiting room and I head him yell my last name for the entire office to hear to see if we paid our bill. Scott doesn’t care about your time you will wait 1.5 hours after your due appointment. Typical arrogant doctor with no class.
Ive suffered with IBSD for over 20 years and went to Dr Ainsworth with stomach and bowel pain and discomfort. In just two visits Ive had the most relief Ive ever had. He listened to me as I described my issues and prescribed a medication that was inexpensive and it worked He scheduled me for a colonoscopy in less than a week very impressive for this area. The procedure went smoothly with no complications. Appointments have been easy and timely to get. The staff was very professional and appeared interested in my concerns. I will have an endoscopy in a few weeks and expect another good experience. Dr. Ainsworth has a good sense of humor which is important to me as it indicates he is happy with what he does. Overall experience has been very pleasant. Based on my experience I would highly recommend Dr Ainsworth to anyone with digestive issues.
Wveryone in the office was kind and considerate. Dr. Ainsworth was highly recommended as an excellent surgeon and his demeanor was easy and informative.
Great doctor for colonoscopy. Just be aware that he’ll charge your insurance $150 for the ~10 minute office visit you will have to make so he can review your medical history. Of all the doctors surgeries and procedures I’ve had over my many years... I have never once had a doctor bill me for reviewing my medical history forms. I’ll bet neither has anyone else.
I landed in UGH with a severelifethreatening infection in my colon. Ainsworth was supposed to visit me and discuss my medical issues. He never should up and had to be shamed by other hospital staff to do his job. The result was Dr. Ainsworth was beyond rude to me and hospital staff recommended that I not use him. I chose a different GI doc.
Husband was diagnosed with cancer after his screening. I was pleasantly surprised when Dr. Ainsworth followed up personally a couple of times on his progress. He really cares for his patients and great bedside manner.
Pre colonoscopy... He charged $150 for the office visit in which it took him all of 10 minutes to review my medical history forms. No other doctor I’ve ever had charged to review medical history forms. But he has rent to pay...
Dr. A came into the office sat in front of his little computer and barely looked at me. I had been referred for an endoscopy but he never did that. Instead he Dxd me with something that I did not have without even examining me. Never again thank you very much.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
