Thang Nguyen's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Nguyen very dissatisfied with this provider. I was seen and he sent me out for some imaging. The imaging company that I went through I had a heck of a time scheduling and then I showed up to an appointment and they didnt have an ultrasound tech there so I had to try to get another scheduled but they were full all day so I called and Dr Nguyens office was able to get me scheduled that same day. I was seen for an ultrasound and bloodwork later the doctor called with the results and then said that they forgot one of the ultrasound areas so that I needed to reschedule that one. I tried without any success as well as tried to see if his office could help me in this process again since I wasnt able to schedule with the imaging company. No call back and zero scheduling I received my bloodwork two days after Dr. Nguyen had received it and wanted a consult to know exactly what it meant. Dr Nguyen called while I was at work as scheduled but was tied up in my own meeting and I called back about 10 minutes later but he was unable to talk to me according to his front office personnel or call back that day It would be the following week until I could get a call back just to go over about the bloodwork and they were going to charge me a copay again for this as well. It has been weeks and I have not been able to get scheduled for the second ultrasound or a consult for the bloodwork. He doesnt seem to be very attentive to his patients and seems to be all about money and did not give me any real relief on the issues I was experiencing I have decided to go elsewhere for care because the care I received was not satisfactory at all. If you have any URGENT matters I highly suggest finding another Doctor Good Luck.

Was looking for a new doctor in the area because my previous doctor was retiring.  Found Dr. Nguyen from researching online and so glad I did.  He took time to get to know and deal with my health problems. Been with him for past few years and planning to stay with him long term because hes that good.  The office staff is helpful and pleasant to deal with too.  No hesitations with recommending him to my friends and family.

Reading some good reviews on Dr. Thang I tried to schedule an appointment for my deaf spouse shortly after we enrolled in a new Athena PPO program.  Being a long time Kaiser patient we might have got used to a better quality of service but when I asked Dr. Thang office about having ASL interpretation as every medical provider is required to provide accessible service for deaf and hard of hearing I got the answer we do not provide it.  I checked multiple times with the office manager and got the same response.  Dr. Thang and his office will not arrange for an onsite or remote video sign language interpreter for a deaf patient. At times like that when everyone must wear masks deaf people can not even relay on lipreading and ASL interpretation which is a right provided to every deaf by the American Disability Act is more important than even.   I was really surprised that a physician is not willing to accommodate the needs of a person with disabilities.

I had to have emergency gallbladder removal.   Dr. Nguyen made me feel at ease with surgery since this was my first surgery ever at 53.   He explained everything in detail and made me comfortable knowing  I was in great hands for surgery.  I strongly recommend this doctor.   He also has a great personality and very knowledgeable.   Thank u Dr. for the great care......    Lourdes

I called to make an appointment. The person who picked up the call was rude kept me on hold for 9.5 minutes straight and hung up after. If this is the kind of service one is trying to provide to their patients I would definitely think twice to go here. They just lost 2 new patients today.

I had normal cold went to see Dr. Thang and was told its normal cold and should be okay within a week. No prescription. After two months i got insurance bill of $520Medical Services $285Counseling $180Professional Medical Services $55.Would be good if this cost was disclosed upfront.

Dr Thang Nguyen is a great doctor with great hours making it easy to make an appointment after my work Hes very patient and takes his time with me each visit making sure I have an opportunity to bring up any questions I have about my health. Would highly recommend

I feel extremely lucky to have had Dr. Nguyen as my doctor for over two years. He was unfailingly patient thorough and a great listener and communicator who made sure to address any questions I had during office visits or over the phone. Although I switched insurance networks last year and he is no longer in my network I would recommend him without hesitation
