I have been with this practice for over 10 years. I have always been able to be seen when needed and have always gotten wonderful care with Dr. Karisny and his PA’s. His whole office staff is exceptional from front to back. Blairsville is lucky to have Dr. Karisny

I have been a patient of dr. Karisny for 15 years. I have never felt more comfortable with the professionalism that he has given me. I feel as though I am able to discuss any situation with him and always gives me as much time as needed. I would recommend him and his staff to anyone.

Ive only had one appointment so far. I actually saw Maureen the Nurse Practitioner. First I was impressed withthe office because the Medical Assistant took my blood pressure the old fashioned way no machines Im a believer in old school methods Maureen was very patient friendly and she took the time to listen to me. Both the checkin gal and the checkout gal were personable and friendly. I really like Dr. Karisneys caring office and staff.

I have been a patient of Dr. Karisny for 15 years. He listens to me and my complaint ask questions and is the most professional that any doctor can be or should be. I would recommend him to anyone.

this doctor is absolutely the best. He still takes the time to LISTEN answer your questions and treat you. I should know he saved my life. My former doctor misdiagnosed me and Dr. K. made the correct diagnosis on my first visit and immediatelly got me on the correct treatment. He is kind compassionate and very intelligent. He is professional yet very down to earth and you will come out of his office feeling he has become your best friend He is indeed what a doctor should be. Medical offices today are not what they use to be and unfortunately alot of doctors dont practice medicine like they use to. THIS ONE DOES......CONGRATULATE YOURSELF ON FINDING HIM

I dont like writing negative reviews. I always communicate with the other party and try to solve the problem before I pick up my pen.  So it is with this Drs office. My problem is not based on a single visit but based on a 6 year history with the office. To put it bluntly they have terrible customer service extremely long waiting times and apparently have no real desire to change.  We live in a small town with not too many options so I guess they really dont fear a mass exodus to competitors because there arent many.  Instead they seem complacent and satisfied with delivering poor service.If you call and they tell you a nurse wii call you back...dont count on itIf you have a 900am appointment expect a 45 minute wait in the outer waiting room and a 20 minute wait in the exam room.If you ask your pharmacy to request a prescription refill expect you will need to call the office and badger them for 3 days to follow up.It often takes 15 minutes to check out because the same clerk has phone duties.The actual care received is fine but it stops there.This did not happen just once but is systemic with their practice.I am writing this just in case they read the reviews.  Will they take the time? I dont know Im still waiting for a nurses call back.

Dr.Karisney Takes care of my Mom and does a wonderful job... He is always polite professional knowledgeable and takes time to explain things that she doesnt understand...We are very happy with his care... She has been his patient since he came to Blairsville and doesnt want to go anywhere else...His staff has always been courteous to Mom...We appreciate both Dr. Karisney his Staff...Thank you GOD bless you all
