I agree I will give most of the medical staff are very personable however I did have to be stuck 2 for some reason I did not like that and I was on the operating table getting ready to go under for a routine colonoscopy when staff came in and ask me to sign these documents not explains anything. I previously talked to my doctor and we decided not to do the edg and for some reason it got changed right before I went under I have gall stones we know that anyways they never explained to me my insurance deductible on that $1000 dollars later they tell me and they refuse to dismiss it on top of the doctors there trying to get more money out of me after my insurance has paid them had to send them 3 times the EOB and when they call me before a procedure the very first thing is to let me know what my part of my insurance is and when I go to registration that's all they want to know too if I have the payment they sure do like to take my money and poke me because the first time is not right other than that all is well I guess there hum

This has got to be the slowest emergency room in America.

My daughter was having severe stomach pain and was seen at Urgent Care. Later that evening she was doubled over in pain. I took her to Union General. Dr. Cody met the nurse before we got in an exam room and looked at her chart. He came in shortly and began running tests. A CT scan revealed an inflamed appendix. The nurses and staff were wonderful taking care of her and me. Dr. Thompson removed the appendix and everything is great. Thank you to all the helpful nurses in the operating room and the surgeon’s staff. I would highly recommend Union General.

The hospital and staff are fine, but, the billing department by itself is terrible! Even when they’re wrong, they will not attempt to make things right. IMHO,,, it seems like predatory billing practices!!!! Beware !

My wife and I have had two terrible experiences with the ER this year.The first is when she broke her foot and was misdiagnosed by the ER doctor due to the outdated x-ray equipment.The second was when she had extreme chest pain and breathing problems and once they determined she wasn’t having a heart attack they never did any other testing to determine what was going on.We spent 12 hours in the emergency room and were sent home with nothing but pain meds. No tests and no diagnosis. I understand they have a lot of Covid patients but other people get sick and injured and need care as well.

had visit with Dr Ainsworth and was horribly VAX shamed and belittled for my being unvaxed. Said it was people like me clogging up the beds and he could not get over there to do his regular procedures ($$ issue I guess) Had an ill fitting loose mask, sloppy in appearance and never did an exam, vitals, nothing.. nothing but being bullied and told some very horrible things after I said I was more afraid of dying in traffic than from covid, he said," and you could die if I accidentally perforate your colon during the procedure too" Obviously I am no longer a patient !!!

I have been to Union General at least 12 times in the last 12 months and only had one bad experience. I have had two emergency room visits two surgeries and and spent one night in the hospital. Overall my experience has been good.

Had to get a stress test. No long waits and very helpful people. Joe in Radiology was great. Thank you for a good experience.
