My daughter was having severe stomach pain and was seen at Urgent Care. Later that evening she was doubled over in pain. I took her to Union General. Dr. Cody met the nurse before we got in an exam room and looked at her chart. He came in shortly and began running tests. A CT scan revealed an inflamed appendix. The nurses and staff were wonderful taking care of her and me. Dr. Thompson removed the appendix and everything is great. Thank you to all the helpful nurses in the operating room and the surgeon’s staff. I would highly recommend Union General.

had visit with Dr Ainsworth and was horribly VAX shamed and belittled for my being unvaxed. Said it was people like me clogging up the beds and he could not get over there to do his regular procedures ($$ issue I guess) Had an ill fitting loose mask, sloppy in appearance and never did an exam, vitals, nothing.. nothing but being bullied and told some very horrible things after I said I was more afraid of dying in traffic than from covid, he said," and you could die if I accidentally perforate your colon during the procedure too" Obviously I am no longer a patient !!!

We have been pushed beyond our limits with taking double and sometimes triple our normal patient load, working 70+ hours a week, foregoing bathroom breaks, going 12+ hours without eating, and doing CPR until we can barely breathe ourselves. The truth is we have put the needs of you, your family, your friends and every other patient we come into contact with before our own, for our entire careers. Now, within weeks... We've gone from "Hero's" to "Dispensable", because we won't be pressured into taking an experimental poke. OUR wants and needs don't matter. We've respected your opinions, respected your choices, and never judged; all we've done is put the choices and needs of others before our own. Have we not earned YOUR respect? You say if we refuse we should be denied basic medical care and the same compassion we've extended to you and your family for our entire careers. Even as you judge us for things you don't know, and want to strip away our rights, we still see your life as having equal value. We will still fight for your rights and freedom, your medical freedom, and your freedom of choice. And as long as we are able to - if you come to the hospital, we will still care for you. Freedom to decide what goes into our bodies is vitally important, not only for medical freedom, but for freedom of choice and the "freedom" that our country and our soldiers have fought and died for. #StopTheMandate #MedicalFreedomOfChoice

My husband was here for several day and the treatment was wonderful. The nurses was so kind.

Try to diagnose your patients instead of giving them expensive breathing treatments when what they actually needed was a heart valve replacement. Then trying to talk you out of transfering to a speciality hospital because you don't want to die.

Dr Dukes was absolutely amazing with my daughter while in the ER. Thank you for being so kind. 💕

People that don’t have insurance deserve to be treated the same as the ones that do. I was rushed out tonight with no real explanation as to why I’m having symptoms. Need to have vet clinic on the door not hospital!
