Introduced himself at beginning of stress test and never saw him during my stay at hospital. Didn't trouble himself to come by to do discharge or nothing.

His office is easily accessible and his staff is very pleasant. His nurse Mallory is one of the most caring and professional people you could hope to meet. Even though Dr. Alvarez is rated as one of the best interventional cardiologists he is very down to earth and easy to speak with. He truly saved me from having a heart attack. After he heard my symptoms, he knew exactly the right procedure for me and within hours I had stents placed to open a blocked artery. He accomplished all of this even though I was newly diagnosed with Covid19 as well. During the my entire experience he made my comfort and understanding a priority.

I was very nervous about meeting with a cardiologist. I knew something wasn't right but didn't know what. After listening to me and doing a simple exam Dr. Alvarez reassured me that everything was going to be alright. I did however need more testing. I had a stent placed later that week and now I feel like Im a new person. I was nervous about the catheter procedure but it was so simple. I couldn't believe I was talking to him while he was in my heart placing the stent. I was in shock he had even started because I never felt a thing. Hands of a healer

Worrying about your heart can be a trying experience but knowing I have Dr. Alvarez in my corner makes it okay! He listens, takes everything I say seriously and cares about my condition. I am not just another number in his day; I am his patient and for that I'm grateful. His staff is efficient and attentive which makes the doctor's job easier and translates into more time for his patients. If you need his care, know you will be in good hands!

Dr. Alvarez has been my cardiologist for the last 5 years. He's very easy to talk to and really cares about your well being. He will take all the time you need to answer all your questions. I wish other doctors had this same bedside manner. I had a procedure done several days ago and Dr. Alvarez was very thorough explaining what to expect. I had complete confidence in him. All his staff was very courteous. I can and will recommend Dr. Alvarez to family and friends.
