I had a hip replacement about 2 1/2 years ago. Still to this day, I'm in a lot of pain, walk with a bad limp, and use a walker. I've been back there several times during 6 months but they said it's fine. It's worse than before I got it done. Do not let him go thru the back. Everyone I've talked to said that going thru the front is better and you heal quickly.
Everything was great!
This was the worse experience with this Doctor. He had no bedside manner and was not sympathetic to the patient. I was with my relative throughout this whole experience. His knee replacement surgery for this patient went bad. Needs revision after 8 months. This should not happen. Please everyone considering knee replacement surgery, Get 2nd and 3rd opinions, and do your homework. Go with your gut when you meet the doctor. How you feel about what you are hearing is very important and how you feel about the doctor. This is a very extensive surgery and the revision is worse for down time and re-coop time.
Dr. Woods preformed knee surgery on me. He did not speak to my spouse or myself during post-op that day nor, have I seen him since. I had to call the office about follow-up care for surgery post op I because I got nothing from him at the hospital; got a call 2 days later. His nurse called 3 days later and had no idea why I was calling. I have questioned a specific pain from my surgery since 1 week posted visit. I have only been able to see his PA. Last follow-up visit was told now I have to have surgery to correct the problem caused by the surgery resulting in the pain I have been questioning from the onset. Frustrated! My experience with this doctor is that he is a get them in get them out doc. Even when the problem was finally discovered at the final surgery follow-up appointment the surgeon, standing outside the door, never stepped in the room to discuss the repair that is going to have to be done. My insurance paid for a surgeon not PA to treat me.
I am a new patient of Dr. Gregory Woods. He is one of the best Orthopedic doctors I have gone to. He takes his time and explains things thoroughly to me. Dr Woods has a very gentle touch when treating me. His love of medicine and caring for his patients always comes shining through.. Dr. Wood's nurse Cindy is very competent and kind. I highly recommend him if you're looking for an excellent Orthopedic doctor.
Had to look him up to know what he looked like.
Dr. Woods has been treating me for a little over a year and a half for degenerative arthritis in my knee. He is attentive and goes over your films with you and explains in detail what he finds. He is conservative in the treatment not automatically jumping into a major surgery without exhausting other remedies. Dr. Woodshas operated on my knee once and im getting ready to have a knee replacement as we have e exhausted all treatments. I would trust dr. Woods with my care and any upcoming surgery needed he is an excellent surgeon.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
