I have never ever written a bad review especially about a doctor/hospital but the Service you receive here is the worst I have ever received in my whole life! As a patient I do not feel comfortable having anyone that won’t even take five minutes to explain a bill, a procedure or any miscellaneous questions/concerns cutting on me. I have tried to give numerous chances but unfortunately it has been nothing but bad experiences which is a shame.

My first experience with Dr. Mitchell and his staff was for a breast augmentation. Although I was super nervous Dr. Mitchell, and his staff put me completely at ease, and I have been so incredibly pleased with the results. In fact I was so pleased with the results and the treatment that I received from him and his staff that he was the first person I thought about when I fell and broke my nose while on vacation and had a nasty laceration on my face. He saw me right away, and now I can't even see the scar, you would never know that it was there!! I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Mitchell to anyone looking for a surgeon that truly cares for his patients.

DO NOT USE! I was mislead for a trigger finger procedure and though it was twilight anesthesia, During PREOP, the anesthesiologist wanted signed consent for risk of anesthesia/adverse effect ( his charges are NOT included in the estimate. I had prepaid $500 and insurance covered $450 for Renue Surgery Suites. When I asked Dr. Mitchell, he replied I only "do the cutting", his billing personnel came and told me don't worry, I won't have any other charges. They lied bc I receive a $200 charge and was told because of the meds administered during anesthesia. It's an absurd excuse in that yes, generic medications (usually 3) are given during anesthesia. I've had 2 trigger finger surgeries done in Jax and made a bad choice using Dr. Mitchell . My previous 2 trigger finger scars are flat ,1 stitch L= 1/4 inch. Now I have a scar that is 6 stitches, L=2 inches ,raised, discolored and sensitive. Beware of Renue extra misc charges, unecessary infection/anesthesia risk!!

Very dissapointed following my procedure. For weeks after procedure I complained of sharp pain, Dr. Mitchell hardly spent few minutes with me on follow up visits. One appointment I waited over two hours past appointment time and never even saw Dr. Mitchell. The nurse removed my surgical drains. 7 weeks post op I developed significant swelling and continued having sharp pain at incision site. Dr. Mitchell had used an outdated suturing technique and sutures has to be removed in a second procedure. All of which I was billed for, thousands of dollars, after being told all costs of the cosmetic procedure were upfront and there would be no surprise bills. It became very clear to me that patient care was of little concern, priority was billing.

This was my first surgery and I am a baby boomer. Office was clean and professional. Service was efficient and great bed side manners. Great listeners. Thanks again for great patient care!! Thanks again to Dr Mitchell and all your staff

This has been by far the best decision to go to doctor Mitchell I had a breast reduction Monday and I am overly satisfied in the outcome the procedure staff was very friendly and very informational I seen him the next day after surgery. I had tubes remove took about 5 seconds I am so happy if you want a great doctor please go to Mitchell. I just want to say thank you to his team and his staff and I will be returning for more work in the future

Dr. Mitchell and the entire staff is amazing. I recently had breast augmentation and from start to finish the experience was made easy from any insurance questions I had right up to the moment I was wheeled in for surgery! Dr. Mitchell has some of the best bedside manners of any doctor that I have ever had experience with and that means alot. And as for the results and the outcome of how the breast look, well I am scheduled for another elective surgery next week with Dr. Mitchell so to say I am pleased with the results would be an understatement!
