Like the last review stated absolute nightmare !!!! I went to Atlanta Gastroenterology saw a nurse assistant for about 10 minutes and explained my problem . She provided no solution. She said she was going to talk to Dr. Patel and call me back ,but I never heard back from her. I was self pay and they charged me $200 for checking my blood pressure and weighing me . Called several times and left messages no return call.

What a nightmare. To say this office is mismanaged would be a compliment. My husband had a colonoscopy done February of 2020. We paid cash for this procedure because our insurance would not cover it (so they said). After having paid for this procedure, the office STILL submitted to our insurance and was paid AGAIN by our insurance. Then, the bills started coming in. We paid thousands more in miscellaneous bills post procedure. When I brought this to their attention, we received a credit because we overpaid? A year later, we are STILL receiving bills. I have called and I am told they use a third party company for billing. I have reached out to that company with ZERO assistance. I have e-mailed with NO RESPONSES. I am at my wits end. Horrible customer service. Horrible billing and accounts service. I hope they see this and have someone contact me because I am at a loss. DO NOT GO HERE.

I like the Dr. I see but communicating with the Dr and staff is lacking! Sent emails to the his medical assistant, left voice messages, messaged via the patient portal and NO RESPONSE. Finally got a hold of someone and then got conflicting information regarding the prep need for an upcoming procedure. VERY FRUSTRATING!

Dr. Kalmin was awesome until recently. After my last visit I requested refills on medications and he suddenly decided to change the directions on my prescriptions. It also took calling the office manager to actually get a response for the refill request.
