TERRIBLE experience with this doctor. Did not take the time to genuinely listen to my concerns. Was referred to her after seeing several other Doctors and Dentists all of which diagnosed me with the same thing. She hardly even glanced at the issue was more focused on asking pointless questions. Then tells me that nothing is wrong and I would need to wait until this issue gets worse and come back and see her again so she could diagnose it. I AM HERE SO THE ISSUE DOESN’T GET WORSE!! HELLO??? And if nothing is wrong then why would you expect me to come back? Waste of time, gas, and $60. I will never step foot into this place again.

Dr. D. was very thorough and careful to help decide how to best treat my ongoing infection. I sincerely appreciate her professionalism and bedside manner. Highly recommend here.

I went and saw Dr. Doppalapudi today and I couldn't be any happier. She spent more time with me than any other Dr. I've seen. Very thorough and attentive. Her nurse, Sherry, is absolutely fantastic. She went above and beyond, even checking in with me on her off day before my appointment. Not sure why all the bad reviews.

I agree with the other bad reviews, WAIT to see a different ID Doctor!! Do NOT see this doctor by yourself!! Take an advocate with you if she is your only choice!! My appointment on 5/10/22, Dr Doppalapudi was rude, condescending, asked me the SAME questions over and over, and *interrupted me repeatedly* when I tried to answer, even though I was using clear, concise and short answers. I had notes about my medical history, and she flat out refused to read them. Her appointment felt like an interrogation, rather than a consultation. It seemed like she was on a mission to make me answer differently, by asking the exact same questions over and over, but then not allowing me to answer before she cut me off. I do not feel that she heard anything I said, and she had already made an opinion before even meeting me. Dr Doppalapudi's nurse would not allow me to ask any questions upon scheduling. Noooo.... you MUST schedule with the doctor to ask a question. My question upon scheduling (with her own nurse) was "please tell me so that I don't miss even more work... if all she will tell me is to wear a mask and stay vaccinated, then we are wasting my time". The only conclusion at the end of an unnecessarily stressful appointment was "stay vaccinated and wear a mask." Dr Doppalapudu chose not to listen to anything I said, during that entire appointment. The doctor talked down to me, treated like an idiot, and she was annoyed with my pre-existing medical problems. This doctor does not encourage patients to be involved in their own care at all.

My son was in the emergency room . I asked for an infectious disease doctor. This was a Saturday. She "consulted" on his care for the weekend. When I asked again for an infectious disease doctor I was assured she was being consulted. She did not come in to see him until Monday. He was misdiagnosed with bacterial meningitis. She eventually ordered a head ct and mri . This was after he had been in for 2 days. He had to be transferred by ambulance to another hospital for emergency brain surgery for a brain infection. I know labs can take awhile...but had she seen him sooner she would have realized he had sinus issues for weeks and headaches. Our nurse and the charge nurse both stated she should have come in on day one based on his symptoms. She called us for follow up but I really think she knew she had made a mistake and was trying to make up for it. I cannot recommend her. In fact, I would say to avoid her at all costs.

Treated me in Cherokee NS, follow-up care ok if you can see during her hours (9 -12 M-W ONLY)... rest of time, she is in the hospital, will not accommodate appointments needed beyond her office hours.

Excellent Physician! Very focused and effective in treating my bacterial infection from a septic knee which required surgery. Efficient & knowledgeable; excellent bedside manners. I am more than pleased with her careful attention, not only to the issue at hand (i.e. the bacterial infection) but to my overall well being; she checked me out thoroughly and offered recommendations on unrelated ailments. Listens attentively and is not in a hurry. I highly recommend her and her assistant. A+ service!
