Victor Chen's Online Review Report Card

I brought my wife today to see Dr.Chen and we are thrilled we finally found a doctor who is really thorough and great bedside manner! We would recommend him highly to anyone! We have been to several arthritis doctors over the past 10 years and Dr. Chen is hands down the best!

Dr Chen is amazing - well educated, knowledgeable and stays up on research, and really listens and asks the right questions. I do feel like sometimes he might spend a lot of time entering stuff into the computer, rather than looking at my body, but I think he's trying to be thorough in documenting things. His staff are efficient and pleasant - you aren't left sitting for hours by yourself in a little room, wondering what's up. I've only ever had minor problems with one of them and they were new and it was addressed and corrected immediately. I definitely like this office and the way that I don't have to wait anywhere from two to 4 hours to see him like I did routinely with a rheumatologist in Gwinnett County.

Surprised to see so many negative reviews for Dr. Chen. He has a great bedside manner and is very personable. I have had an instance where I waited for a very long time and ended up leaving after not yet being seen after an hour. It was apparently a miscommunication among the staff members. I called the office manager and complained and she was very interested in addressing my concern and spoke with Dr. Chan. The doctor offered me to come back at my convenience for any day and time And he even apologized to me at the next visit. I travel about 45 minutes to see him now because it’s hard to find a good rheumatologist

Dr Chen listens me and considered my feelings about taking certain medicines. He seems to genuinely want to help me feel less pain and prevent or slow the progression of my arthritis. He is good about educating me about what the medicines can do and what to watch for as far as unwanted effects. I feel like he is trustworthy. He checks labs before and during treatment.

Deep interest in his patient's overall health. Clean, well-organized office.

It was good. He's always been very attentive, and helpful in my diagnosis. Very professional, caring.

The staff is HORRIBLE They help you when it’s only Convenient for them they give you enough meds to red flag you in the system and then Refuse to help you and you basically suffer in pain on a daily basis!! Don’t waste your time it’s not worth it in the end

Came for skin problem lupus he never looked at it to see how bad it was. What's with that? Oh well

I had high hopes when I visited this practice. Initially I found the front office staff a bit rude, but not overly so. The nurse or MA was a bit cold but she was professional. She assured me that Dr. Chen was an excellent doctor and that I would "just love him." When Dr. Chen came in he seemed polite enough. He was more interested in looking at my chart from where I had seen my primary several months before. He was very dismissive and did not ask very many questions about what I have been experiencing. At one point he said, "If you had Lupus you would have mouth sores." And had he examined my mouth he would have seen the mouth sores there. He did not do a physical exam. He did a very poor, quick and incomplete pressure point exam and despite saying my pressure points were not very sore, he still dismissed my symptoms as being Fibromyalgia. Now if that is indeed what I do have, that's fine but please come to this conclusion after a thorough exam. Do not waste your time going here.
