Dr. Barfield is one of the best PCPs I’ve encountered. She is kind patient and legitimately seems to have an interestcares about her patient’s opinionsthoughts regarding their healthcare. With that said I am currently looking for a new PCP. She is nearly impossible to get an appointment with even as an existing patient.I called on July 8 to try and get a same or next day sick appointment. I was told July 14 was the earliest I could be seen and that I should just go to urgent care. This defeats the purpose of having a PCP.Trying to schedule an annual physical is just as difficult. I am deeply disappointed with the inability to get a timely appointment at this practice. It’s only gotten worse over the years. I have never complained about the amount of time I have had to wait to be seen once I have an appointment because she does spend a good amount of time with each patient but I can’t even get an appointment anymore…

Dr. Barfield has been our Primary Care Physician since moving to this area in 2014. She is an excellent physician always taking time to listen and to discuss our health care. We highly recommend her.

Dr. Barfield is so warm and personable and she gives you all the time you need. You never feel rushed. So if you have to wait awhile to see her its a small price to pay for her undivided attention. She is at the top of all my best doctor experiences.

With Dr. Barfield you have all the time you need to ask questions and get the answers you need. In this increasingly alienated society where everyone hides behind technology this office still offers human touch.

Dr. Barfield is an excellent PCP. She listens to you takes her time with the examination and goes beyond the normal to secure services you need such as physical therapy specialists etc. I would highly recommend her practice.
