This office has a single staff member that will not not open the window until you call on the phone. The doctor is excessively late for appointments, and while you wait in pre-surgery he will have lunch, visit other patients back at his office, and make personal calls in the hallway of the hospital on the mobile. After 4 hours and 30 minutes I gave up. He remained in the hall on a call ordering white styrofoam cups while I was leaving. He did not care, never visited me in the pre surgery room, or even stated I will get to you soon. During the 3 and 1/2 hours later every nurse apologized for his unprofessionalism. They believe he is a good doctor, but apologize over and over again and state this is the norm. I am sure nothing will happen to Dr. Tayara, but its unprofessional and ruins ones confidence in a surgeon. Someday when Piedmont Hospital hires a prudent manager this will no longer be accepted. Its just completely rude, inconsiderate, unprofessional, and uncalled for. Thank you

He does not keep his word. Made me do without food for 24 hours and did not show up on time for the Test.

Dr. Tayara is a wizard with procedural stuff, but not so much with people skills. Be proactive as a patient. Ask questions! He will spend more time with you if you demand it. If you are the type of patient that expects a lot of One-Sided attention or discussion from the Doctor, he is probably not for you. My husband and I both see him and wouldn’t change a thing. You just have learn his style and deal with it.

Dr. Tayara is a brilliant doctor and I've had many other doctors tell me the same. He is courteous as well as his crew. I've been a patient since 2017 and I'm still happy.

Terrible! He didn't even speak to me on the day of the procedure. After it was over with he walked by recovery room said 1 polyp three years while he kept walking. Didn't even go out and talk to my wife to let her know anything. Got home and on the written order had Metamucil didn't know why. Called office on Monday left message never got called back. Called them again on Wednesday Receptionist Melissa answered rude! I explained I had already called and tried to explain how I was treated said you can find another doctor and was hung up on. So I went to the office. ask for my records she said your not getting them unless you pay 50.00 then another lady came and gave my records! Would not recommend this doctor !Shouldn't even be in this line of work ! I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED LIKE THIS BY ANY DOCTOR! It says a lot about a doctor when the receptionists are aloud to talk to a patient like that. I grew up in Bartow County and promise the name Dr Tayara will get around!

Dr. Tayara performed an EGD & Colonoscopy. I found him to be very caring... professional and thorough! I was a nervous wreck. Dr. Tayara was reassuring and patient! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM! His office staff also deserves an A+.

Dr. Tayara was very good. His diagnosis was spot on. He is probably the best dr I’ve ever seen. He doesn’t spend a lot of time with you, but he doesn’t have to. The nurse is wonderful and very friendly.
