List of Ngpg Cleveland's Reviews
There was no discussion of cost before my son began his therapy sessions. Two sessions in, we received our first bill today for the first session. They are charging us $300 a session (and we have insurance) for each hour of play therapy. Our son really needs the help, but there is no way that we can spare $1200 a month for his therapy. It's even more sickining because that money was essentially wasted since the first couple of sessions were probably mostly setup and we won't be able to afford to continue working with the therapist. Charging this much for children's therapy at a regional medical center like NGPG is amoral. I expected to have to pay something, but this is absurd - especially since they didn't feel the need to share their costs up front. There office will not give a cost of service or even tell us what we owe before sending a bill. We tried to find out how much we were going to owe for our second visit after the first visit was so high, and they wouldn't tell us the cost. We were hoping to be able to keep our appointments if the appointments after the initial appointments were cheaper, but we had to cancel the appointments because they would not tell us how much they had billed for the second appointment or would be billing for future appointments. They also made our first appointment without even talking with us. Someone called to set up the appointment. I accidentally deleted the message before I called them back. A couple of weeks later, I remembered to call (something happened at school that made me remember to set up therapy) but couldn't find the number. I called the primary care physician that referred us, and the person in that office said that they had a note that I (they said the "dad" specifically) had been called and advised of the cancellation policy and that an appoinment had already been created. I don't know who they spoke with, but it wasn't me. Had I not called to follow up, we would have missed the visit and, based on their notes saying that they had spoken with me, been charged a fee. Since they've yet to give a confirmation call or email before a visit, I wouldn't have found out any other way.
They charge $230 for a covid test.
I have gotten to know the staff over the years and feel like they are family. I had a checkup by Tina Coleman, she answered all my questions and spent extra time going through everything. I am so grateful to have this facility close by!
The staff are always so nice and helpful from the front desk to the nurses and assistants to the lab technicians. Dr. Murphy is my children's pediatrician. He is so kind and really takes the time to explain everything to you. He genuinely cares for his patients and always puts my mind at ease. I feel so fortunate to have him as my children"s pediatrician and to have NGPG in my town.
Went to the urgent care clinic because swollen legs and feet. Reception staff was very nice and saw an NP quickly. Then told there would be an x-ray tech in to x-ray my foot. We waited nearly 1/2 for a person that came i with no equipment, but told us he wasn’t comfortable treating me and had no recommendations except to go to an ER. I wouldn’t have thought that would have taken half an hour to decide. If you go here it should be a very minor ailment. I wouldn’t recommend anything difficult.
I went to urgent care because I had a cough along with muscle aches and a headache. After checking my vitals, they did a COVID test on me. The dr then came in and checked my chest, heart, ears, and throat. He determined I did not have strep or flu... without a test for either one. My got my results back through the app... no telephone call to tell me the results, to check how I was feeling, or if they could provide me with resources or to offer information to help me start feeling better. So much for empathy and patient care. Hope they enjoy the money they got from my test!
Sorry to read these negative reviews. I've been going here a long time. I see Rebecca Durham and have been for 6+ years. She is very compassionate and I trust her diagnosis every time. Rebecca is one of the few care givers in my life who actually listens and I never feel the bored disinterest that so many of them have. If you have to wait, you can be sure there was a good reason for it.
Don't get sick because you will not get an appointment with a Dr. They send you to the the NGPG Emergency center. Recently one of their doctors left. I asked to see another doctor at this facility. The quickest appointment I could get for any Dr. there was July!!! Six months??? What a joke this place is. Again, don't get sick.
North Georgia Physicians group is the Walmart of medical care.
Came in to Urgent Care for a drug screen for a new job. Quick and simple!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
