Dr. Scarborough came highly recommended, but his. bed side manner and lack of empathy or action from surgical complications has been disheartening and had my family calling numerous doctors to try and get an appointment for help. I’m afraid we’ll be left with no choice but to go to an ER in order to receive care.

Dr. Scarborough performed an outpatient breast biopsy at St. Francis Emory Breast Center on me. He didn’t know my name, nor history of my second ultrasound sizing and location referral for this visit. My wait time was more than 45 minutes for a 3minute pop in visit with a student to tell me I would be scheduled. On the day of my procedure late again, he ungloved gloved and took a cell call in the hallway while I laid exposed. On his return without any communication I was injected locally at the breast site, when I complained of pain he jabbed me two more times. My follow-up vs with a student, didn’t address me by name, didn’t look at the massive edematous bruised breast in 3 minutes told me after I request examination stated patients have had more worse than that. Wasted visited as I had reviewed my results on the patient portal. I will “Never” use him again and advise you seek a more professional surgeon should you ever need this procedure. Billed for a long visit on my EOB.

The care at Dr. Scarborough office is very personal and the staff is very attentive and cheerful, professional and personal also. Overall the personal care you receive is very good.

Dr. Scarborough is truly an awesome doctor! I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer a year ago and he did my mastectomy and took care of me. I would recommend him and his staff on any day of the week.

I am a 47 yr old male who had breast cancer Dr.Scarborough is so nice and personable he made our tramatic experience feel like just a routine process, I was never worried after him talking to us from the first visit all the way thru a double mastectomy, it almost felt like my father was the one doing it, and that is big shoes to fill. I would rank him amongst the best Breast Surgeons anywhere in the world and we are so glad we chose him as my Surgeon.. Forever great full and cancer free !
