Cynthia Fernandez's Online Review Report Card

I called to make an appointment around the end of April and was given an appointment in September. I called back around the beginning of May and was told they were not sure why my appointment was made so far away but they rescheduled me for a time in mid August. Then about a week or two later they called me back to say that Dr. Fernandez has a surgery scheduled on my appointment date and that the earliest appointment that they can give me was for September 7, 2022. Update: Today they called in August and now they are saying the doctor will be on vacation and reschedule my appointment near the end of September. Thank goodness this is just a routine visit. Smh

Do not trust this doctor with your health. She is uncaring and ignorant regarding female health issue!

My wife and I both use Dr. Fernandez (yes, she has male patients for the pellet form of hormone replacement therapy). My wife also uses her for general gynecological assessment and treatment. She gives patients the time necessary for full assessment AND explanations, and works with patients in a very personal manner as if they were her close personal friends. She is highly responsive to questions, and as flexible as she can be. With many loyal patients, there are sometimes scheduling issues, but when warranted she even moves patients up in scheduling if circumstances require it. She is worth the wait when scheduling difficulties arise - we would not consider changing providers just to be seen a few days earlier in such circumstances! She works very well with her nurse, and creates an exceptional patient experience. As not only a patient, but also a retired provider at another area hospital, I can confidently says that she is among the very best of the best.

I recently visited St. Francis-Emory for my annual exam and saw Dr. Fernandez. I was extremely impressed. She was kind, thorough, and helped answer several questions that I had in great detail. She took her time despite the fact that there were so many waiting on her. I really appreciated her bedside manners. It was obvious that her years of experience help make patients, like myself, not sit there and feel uncomfortable. Thank you Dr. Fernandez!

If you are looking for a physician who is highly skilled and knowledgeable with a wonderful bedside manner, full of compassion, is nurturing and genuinely cares about her patients overall well-being, Dr. Fernandez is the gyno you are looking for. I’ve been a patient of hers for 20 years and going for my annual check-up is more like visiting with a friend, she makes it that comfortable. She is beyond a physician, she is a blessing!

I went for my yearly Pap smear with Dr. Fernandez, she’s very genuine and really caring. She talked with me through the entire process. She’s very gentle and really cares about her patients. I highly recommend anyone in the columbus area that is looking for a gyno to go see Dr. Fernendez.
