Dr. Zimmerman is a good Dr and a wonderful surgeon he did both of my total knee replacement.

Today was my 1st visit for knee issues. I was scared and nervous. Who wants to hear bad news about their joints? Dr. Zimmerman and his entire staff were super professional, kind, and listened to my concerns. I felt heard and safe even with news that isn't so pleasant. I would highly recommend.

Dr. George Zimmerman replaced both of my knees, reverse shoulder on both of my shoulders and one hip. He did do not the other as he was leaving St Francis at that time but recommended another great surgeon. Because of his skills I am able to exercise even with weights and can run if I have to. I still work part time in climbing ladders and crawling. I will be 78 in August. He also has great bed side manners.

Dr Zimmerman performed surgery on my husbands arm for a bicep tear and tendon repair. He was amazing. Bed side manner was wonderful follow through with Dr Zimmerman and his staff was amazing. This was my husbands first time ever having any surgery and they made him feel very comfortable with everything.

I'm thankful for Dr. Zimmerman's knowledge and talent. He performed my total hip replacement 4 months ago and gave me back the ability to walk without hip pain. He was thoughtful, kind and considerate each time I saw him before and after surgery.

My husband had a total knee replacement in May 2017 and says his knee hurts as bad as it did prior to the surgery. We continued to get the same answers that it would take a year before the healing process was complete however it only seems to get worse. We received a letter at the end of November 2017 dated October 30, 2017 that Dr. Zimmerman was leaving the practice . We have called to find out who was taking over his patients only to be told NO ONE. What does that tell you? No one wants to be associated with cleaning up his mess. Wish we had not listened to others that recommended this doctor.

Absolutely wonderful doctor! Fantastic bedside manner, great surgeon. I was back playing golf 6 weeks after knee replacement. He really takes the time to listen, and truly cares about his patients. Highly recommend Dr. Zimmerman!!

Dr. George Zimmerman, while he was at St. Francis Hospital, Columbus, GA, replaced both of my knees, both of my shoulders and my left hip. I just had my right replaced by Dr. Randall Ruark whom he recommended highly. Dr. Zimmerman will treat you like a friend in and out of the office. He has great bed manners and is a good and friendly person. I recommend him very highly. I highly recommend him.

I had a total knee replacement in April 2017 almost a year later I'm in much more pain then before I've been back several times never seen him only a PA even when I requested to see him personally never got my questions answered like why I had blisters and rashes all over my leg witch are just now clearing up but going to make one more appointment to try and figure out what the problem is before I have to try and get help somewhere else and no I wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone

I had a total knee replacement done on 6/6/17 by Dr. George Zimmerman at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus GA. I only saw Dr. Zimmerman before the surgery, not once afterwards. It is now March 6, 2018 and my knee pops out, makes a loud grinding sound when I flex it, aches all the time and I find I can no longer walk up steps. That's right, in less than a year I am in the same position I was before I had the replacement. Actually I'm worse because now I have metal inside me that does not work. I so hate that I listen to people who told me he was the best. He is a hack! DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR!
