List of Harvey A. Harris's Reviews
Poor patient service. I heard really good things about his office and him. I dont know what kind of doctor he is but I know he has poor patient service. I called his office this morning to ask a simple question. Are you taking any new patients? I was on hold for 20 mins and I was ok with that. when the phone started ringing it rang for 5 mins til I eventually hung up. If it’s that difficult to get someone to answer the phone I can’t imagine what it’s like to get an appointment. I called another doctors office and they picked up immediately and told me what I needed to do.
Dr. Harris is a great doctor who is very caring and has a great bedside manner. He listens to you and doesn't rush you through. He genuinely is interested in improving your health and giving advice on how to improve or to whom to see for some matters (i.e., Hughston Clinic, etc.). I would highly suggest Dr. Harris as a GP to everyone!
GREAT DOCTOR ALWAYS LISTENS AND EXSPLAINS EVERYTHING AND STAFF IS SO HELPFUL. LOVE IT HERE
Excellent
Hands down, the most down to earth doc ever!
Dr. Harris is a great doctor. He always makes sure to treat you in a friendly manner and figure out the treatment that will work for you. I removed 2 stars for his assistant. She is unpleasant, doesn’t seem to care to much about her patients and worst of all, charges more for her services than the actual doctor. I made an appointment with her because the Dr. Harris wasn’t available when I needed to be seen. I had to make a second appointment a week later as the treatment she prescribed wasn’t working and the problem had gotten much worse. She didn’t run any tests and just prescribed some random medicines. A week later after talking to Dr. Harris, he had obvious reservations on the medication she gave me and prescribed something totally different. Then, I received the bills. The one for Dr, Harris, whose practice it is, was $55. The bill for his ASSISTANT was $90. When I called to ask what the difference was and why they charged two vastly different charges, I was told “that’s just the way it is. Remember, in neither appointment did I receive any tests. Just them looking in my ear and writing a prescription. If you can’t see Dr. Harris, don’t go. Dr. Janet will over charge you.
Dr. Harris is GREAT! He is honest, thorough, and probably the best doctor I have seen!
Dr. Harris is an awesome physician who treat patient with a vast amount of respect and treatments. However you will WAIT, AND WAIT, AND WAIT in this doctor office. Make sure u go on your off day or after work because it's never a in and out situation. U could wait only 5 minutes in the waiting area and be in the patient room for 30 minutes to an hour.
Harvey Harris does not have his heart in the right place and needs to retire. My father and my self were both patients at this practice. My father who rarely goes to Dr went in because he was coughing for 3 months straight. Harris blew it off as sinuses and dismissed my father, 5 mo later he was diagnosed with stage 4 squamous cell lung cancer by pulmonologist and had to have his right lung removed due to Harris’s neglect to do chest X-ray when my father went to him for help! I recommend no one!
Dr. Harris has made my aging process much easier. He is a caring professional who always looks after his patients. He probably spends more face-to-face time with each patient than most which can cause wait time to be longer. Dr. Harris is well worth the wait. He had been my primary for many years and I dread having to change to another doctor because of insurance coverage. I will come back to Doctor Harris as soon as those constraints go away.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
