I had cataract removed by Dr J. Brooks. He explained everything he was doing and what I would experience as he performed the surgery. He took the time to call me that evening to make sure all was well with me. I had an appointment with him the very next morning and he and nurse went over the recovery procedure again regarding drops and what to expect. Overall it was a very good experience. I am glad he is my doctor. He and staff were very caring, very professional.

Overall quality of care is good. But this provider's office tends to double and triple book appointments for the same time causing long waits for patients.

Dr. Brooks saw my husband for a diabetic eye exam. My husband was just diagnosed as being diabetic and we were told scary things about what it could do to his eyes. Dr. Brooks assured us that there was no need for alarm and that he saw no damage from the diabetes. We will continue to see Dr. Brooks to make sure it stays that way. I appreciate a doctor that takes the time to explain things!
