He was my rheumatologist during his term in Thomasville, Ga. He was excellent in his diagnosis and management of the proper meds in order for me to manage my condition.

I was a patient of Dr. Hunt’s for several years. He has recently left the practice where I was being treated. I will greatly miss his knowledge, compassion, and eagerness to find the root cause of my problems. I am a female patient in my late 30’s; I was referred to Dr. Hunt for the treatment of fibromyalgia and screening for autoimmune disease related problems. Dr. Hunt discussed in depth the treatments that hadn’t worked, what did help. He helped draw up a plan of treatment that has helped me improve my life. He also helped me work with my primary care doctor to get referral to physical therapy and an endocrinologist to treat problems that were making my fibromyalgia worse.

I was sent to Doctor Hunt from Tallahassee from my primary care doctor for ongoing symptoms of chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia . She sent me to him as there was only one rheumatologist in Tallahassee and wait time was six months after telling Dr Hunt about my symptoms and my mother had fibromyalgiA., He completey minimized everything i said and acted like i was making it up and crazt. He actulally tokd me to see a therapist nd told me i should see a therapist . Shame on you Dr. Hunt for treating me without compassion . If you arent knowledgeable or are ignorant about a certain illness than you dont need to maje patients feel luke you dont care and that it is in our head . Many illnesses that women complain about are minimized .. There have been studies on this . You are supposed to help not harm your patients.. maybe you should just stick to auto immune disorders and arthritis . Illnesses that can be detected by bloodwork or xrays.
