I totally had the best care with my appointment with Dr Kolstad!! He and his nurses were so pleasant to hep me with my knee. I highly recommend to anyone who needs a caring Dr to visit Columbus orthopedic clinic 👍

Dr. Kolstad explained what my actual injury was and determined surgery would be necessary. He explained the procedure in great detail so my wife and I knew exactly how they repair the tear. He then went in to great detail as to what to expect after surgery, and the steps to recovery. It really put our mind at ease and I was very pleased with the overall experience.

My appointment was on time & I did not have to wait long in the exam room. Dr. Kaare Kolstad was thorough & I felt like he was zeroed in on my injury & listening to me, & not rushing through to get to his next patient. He was clear on how to rehab my injury & also let me know what I could do as to the physical activity I am involved in. I appreciate the time & conversation we had. I would recommend Dr. Kolstad as good doctor to see.

The Columbus Hospital is one that could use some professional training and also more professional nurse's. I had a comfortable room. The nurses were all great, compassionate and caring except for my last nurse. My last nurse withheld my pain medication from me. That same nurse was standing around the corner of my room and talking badly about me to another colleague. My Aunt, Daughter and I heard everything that she said. I got out of my bed and confronted both of them. I also went and found a charge nurse. The charge nurse took care of my pain medication. I am unclear wether the nurse who was talking about me was ever handled or not. Deformation of Character comes into play here along with breaking patient confidentiality!! Also, breaking the right of a patients care! I am totally telling everyone about my experience so that other people are aware. However Dr.Kolstad is an amazing Dr. He provided excellent care!! I will continue to tell all my friends about him and his very professional and exceptional qualities!!

I would not know where to begin on Dr Kolstad just simply amazing, professional and compassionate. He sees you hears you and makes you feel part of the team for you to be successful for your orthopedic needs. He has been right by my side on this journey to get me where I need to be for my knee replacements and Shoulders. I'm absolutely in the best hands. Dr. Kolstad's staff they are top notch and sometimes over looked they are amazing and very caring. This has been the best experience on this journey Columbus Orthopedic office is the best. Thank you Dr Kolstad and staff for being at my side on this journey.

I am very thankful and blessed that in October of 2020 when Dr. Kaare Kolstad accepted and approved me for knee replacement surgery. My life changed forever, I went from not being able to walk without the use of a walker to an active lifestyle. Both knees were bone on bone to the point I gained 3" in height after replacement. Dr. Kolstad and his team have encouraged me every step of the way. Our family went to the Flordia Keys last May and made many memories with the family. I am often asked who did my surgery and i proudly tell them about my experience.
