Appointment wait time, around 20 minutes. Once I was called back to a room, I saw Dr.Borkat within 10 minutes. Dr.Borkat has excellent bedside manners and took his time with me to explain, in detail, the findings on my CT scan. Dr. Borkat then allowed me to ask questions and to express any concerns I had for my situation. MOST INPORTANLY HE DID NOT RUSH! Dr. Borkat was calm and with assuredly told me what our next steps were going be. With confidence he said he would take good care of me, which he did! Not only is Dr. Borkat an EXCELLENT DOCTOR, but his approach in treating his patients is from one person to another and not Doctor to patient. His staff is just as sweet, helpful and are always smiling! I used Dr. Borkat 12 years ago (2004), he left such an impression on me then, that when this last surgery was needed (2016) there was no doubt that I wanted Dr.Borkat to once again take such good care of me!

Dr. Borkat is a wonderful physician. I was recently referred to him from my Endocrinologist and I feel so fortunate to have him in control of my health and surgery. My surgery is done and he did an amazing job. I was terrified and he calmed me down and explained everything will be okay. The hospital is fantastic and everyone involved were extremely nice and willing to comfort me and help me through it. I would highly recommend this Dr as a surgeon. Very smart, professional and kind man.

met with dr michael borkat three weeks before my daughters surgery. he was very friendly. he explained things to us in terms we understood in regards to our daughters surgery. on the day of the surgery we talked to dr. borkat. he reassured us everything was going to be alright. after surgery dr. borkat explained everything to us. i was highly impressed with dr. borkat. i would definitely recommend him and i would use him also,

I went to the ER for abdominal pain and unexpectedly required an appendectomy. Dr Borkat was the surgeon on call and subsequently performed my procedure. He had a great bedside manner and was friendly from beginning to end. Considering the circumstances, he exceeded my expectations! AP Hinds
