I accompanied my elderly Mother to her appointment with this surgeon. He was arrogant, impatient and disrespectful. He seemed overtly disinterested in answering our questions and clarifying our concerns. From reviews, he may be skilled in the OR. He is not skilled as a compassionate human and certainly doesn’t demonstrate concern or care for the whole person. I wouldn’t want my Mother or someone else I love to be cut by him. Big thumbs down from us. There are other great surgeons in Columbus who care about the whole person they are being hired to heal by their surgical hands. We will seek another option.

I was seen very quickly and had a my surgery soon after. I had my “Post Op” appointment this week & have had a very positive outcome. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Herceg and his staff and would definitely use them again, (should ever need to) I highly recommend Orthopedic One.

I accompanied my elderly Mother to an appointment with this surgeon. We will choose another doctor to help my Mother due to this guy’s arrogance and disrespect. Frankly we found him to be a bully and interested in a one way conversation from his mouth to our ears. He demonstrated complete lack of respect and interest for our questions and concerns. Instead of taking the time to be considerate with our questions, he actually told us “I don’t have a mortgage so it doesn’t matter to me if you choose me to do this surgery.” Woah- big opportunity to evolve his level of compassion and care for the other humans he serves. There are better whole people out there to do this work.

I can not say enough about Dr Milan Herceg!!! He performed my 2006 back and 2023 neck surgeries. Impeccable Physician, exemplary education and credentials, great guy, no non-sense approach, and I will always recommend and request him as well as Orthopedic One.

Dr Herceg quickly stepped in when the previously contacted surgeon was not available during my emergency spine procedure. He told us after reviewing my MRI to immediately go to the hospital. He saw to all the details at the hospital and operating room with amazing speed. He thoroughly explained what the damage was and what he would do during surgery. After surgery he frequently checked on my condition and rehab. The surgery was a great success due to Dr Herceg’s knowledge, skill, and quick action.
